This guy was walking around in an area of the Buffalo Gap National Grasslands, which abutts the Badlands, in an area known as the Black-Footed Ferret Reintroduction Area. He was starting to walk out of camera shot when I shouted for it to stop so I could take its picture. Interestingly, not only did it do so, it actually walked closer to us where it then posed for this shot.

To say I was jazzed would be an understatement!
