Blackstone Glacier, a tide water glacier, is seen behind the island and gravel bar formed from ground being pushed before the glacier in centuries past. The boat we're on is about five miles still out from the glacier. The waterway is Blacksone Bay off of Prince William Sound, south of Anchorage, Alaska. ~ July 10, 2003
