This is dear Woodrow at about 7 weeks. Not the most flattering portrait I know, but so funny I couldn't resist (actually this photo inspired my cat poem "Oh the Indignity"). Woodrow, although kind of the "ugly duckling" of the two kittens, is an absolute love muffin (lap junky - you sit down, and he's THERE and purring), and a total wise man. I named them before I knew them really, but I was right on with their names - if you're familiar with Lonesome Dove; Woodrow is serious and controlled like his namesake - Augustus is a total character, always testing the waters.
