It was a long hard slog to get a 50,000 word novel written within the confines of November. Especially as, for me, more than 1/2 of the month it was impossible to actually have ANY time devoted to writing because of my University comitments.

Never-the-less, I persevered and came through at the last minute (quite literally!) to pass the 50,000 word mark and earn my own little place in writing history.
