These three sewing boxes were made from bits of cardboard for the form, covered in cross-stitch fabric, and lined with satin. I made the tiny pincushion (THAT was hard, lemme tell ya!), the spool of thread (from a bit of wooden dowel sanded down to the right size), and the little card of 'buttons' (actually just seed beads). However, I didn't make the scissors. I just thought they seemed appropriate for the picture.
