Back in my high school days, taking a picture in the library was one of those things that was nearly impossible. The staff would go ballistic over a flash going off in the library, and fluorescent lighting is terrible for pictures. With this picture, I got lucky. I was able to get away with using my flash, and my friend Bill (who is the subject of this photo) was completely unaware of this picture being taken. However, I had forgotten about this photo until I was perusing one of my many photo albums not too long ago. This black and white shot is wonderful because it's a good example of light grays and brightness.
