In early June 2005, not long after the death of Tommie, we adopted two male kittens. They were born two weeks apart in April of the same year, and despite their abandonment, they are very chipper and playful kittens. The gray one on top is Sam (full name Samuel Adams [family surname]). The blackish one on the bottom is George (full name George Wallace [family surname]). While they're both adorable, I have a soft spot for George because when I first met him in the animal shelter, he ended up falling asleep in my lap!
