It was a magnificent day for the notorious Rouge. she had gone on a jewel stealing spree that day and had gathered dozens of priceless jewels she intended to admire as part of her ever growing collection of jewels. They were all beautiful and nearly flawless. Plus it felt like her lucky day, because each of the jewels were practically too easy to steal. Each of them barely had any security, or guards to protect the divine looking gems, making her job all to easy that day.

Though she wasn't finished yet. Earlier, she robbed a museum of some ancient jewelry, but while stealing she discovered something. There was a map, to a legendary jewel that had captured Rouge's interest. Though the map did have did have a small warning on the back. All it said was that the jewel was cursed, but the curse itself was still a mystery due to smudges on the back. of course Rouge did not take the curse warning seriously. The opposite occurred, she was more tempted to find it now. She didn't believe in curses, but it did make the jewel sound thrilling to seek.

So naturally, Rouge flew off to find this mysterious jewel. It was located in a temple deep in a forest. Like most temples with ancient treasures it was complete with dangerous life threatening traps. Odiously, the traps were to prevent people from going further, but that didn't work so well. Rouge was a skilled thief, so she managed to survive all the traps. As she encountered more of the booby traps, she became more interested in the treasure. "With all these traps, the diamond most be valuable and beautiful." Rouge thought as she went through the temple. Though when she finally found it, she was a bit disappointed.

The jewel she was seeking for was a diamond, but a small one. It was a diamond about the size of a grape attached to a necklace. "This is it? I was expecting a little more than a tiny pendant. Well it is nice looking, and I did have to go through a lot of trouble to get to it." Rouge thought as she took it and wore it around her neck. Though when she put it on she felt a slight tingle across her body. Though she felt strange, it was only a few seconds so she thought nothing more of it.

After she retrieved the pendant she returned to her home. When she got home it was already late, so she fell asleep rather quickly. A little too quickly. Little did she realize, that she had forgotten to take of the necklace. As she slept, the jewel glowed brightly. Rouge couldn't notice though as she was enjoying her dream to wake up and see it's bright glow. Rouge was about to discover the curse was real...
