Locking herself up in her room, she quickly discarded her ripped and stretched out gown and now was standing half naked in front of a full body mirror staring at her form in shock.
“I’m hideous,” she whispered as she spun around, staring at every inch of her fattened body. There were no stretch marks, which was the only good news. Her skin retained it’s peachy color and smooth feel, but it was all bloated out by the pounds and pounds of fat all over her body. She now had a paunch, sticking out from her body a few inches and drooping slightly. Her breasts were much bigger as was her ass, which she noted with morbid amusement that the larger size of her behind would make her butt thrust more powerful.
“I guess it isn’t that bad,” Peach said, feeling more depressed by the second as she turned to sit on her bed. “It’s not like being pretty mattered. I’m surrounded all day by tiny mushroom people and the only men in my life are a thousand pound thunder lizard with a kidnapping fetish and an Italian stereotype who would rather eat cake then kiss me.”
Slumping forward, Peach sighed heavily and thought about how unfair life was for her. Everyone had someone, a close friend, a fighting companion or a love interest, but she had no one. Her friendships were just as flawed as her love life. She had two friends, Daisy and Birdo. Daisy and her had nothing in common except both being princesses and Birdo worked for Bowser. Thinking about her friends only made her feel more miserable. She had no one.
“Knock Knock.”
Hearing a familiar gruff, yet sensual voice from outside her door, Peach brightened up. Maybe she did have some real friends. Quickly grabbing a robe to cover herself with, Peach made herself presentable and opened the front door to see two people she had quickly become close to. Samus and Zelda stood outside her room. Samus had a big, gleeful smile, while Zelda had a much more reserved grin on her face. Quickly ushering them in, Peach shut the door quickly, not wanting anyone to see her as she was.
“How you doing girl?” Samus casually asked as she plunked down on Peach’s bed beside Zelda. Since coming to the Smash Universe, Peach had quickly become friends with two of the only women in the tournament. In Zelda she found someone she could relate to, they were both princesses that hated being damsels in distress and strived to become stronger. While Peach found Zelda someone she related to, Samus was the woman she wanted to be. A fighter, an adventurer, a free spirit, Samus had the life Peach wished she had. She wished she could be just like Samus, a woman that didn’t need a man to save her whenever something went wrong.
“I’m fine, just tired,” Peach lied, sitting down across from her friends with a weary sigh. Zelda and Samus exchanged a look, neither one were buying it.
“Peach were your friends, you can tell us if something’s bothering you.” Zelda reassuringly told Peach. Seeing the concern on her friend’s faces, Peach broke down. Tears started to build up in her eyes and she lowered her head as she let everything she had been holding in out.
“I’m so fat and ugly now, no ones ever going to love me. I was weak before, but at least I was pretty and now I have nothing. I’m never going to meet someone and have to marry…marry…. Mario!”
Both girls gagged at the idea of anyone spending the rest of their lives with that greasy meatball. The thought of that was going to give them both nightmares tonight. Moving past their disgust, they moved towards Peach to offer their comfort. Sitting down beside her, then took one of Peach’s hands each and lifted her head up. Brushing back her tears, the two women smiled heartedly at their new friend.
“Peach your overreacting, you’re not ugly and your certainly not going to end up with Mar…that man.”
Peach looked doubtfully at Samus, not believing that she was right. Her ass was nearly the size of her whole head, what kind of man would want her now. “But I’m so fat, no ones going to like me now that I have all this extra weight.”
“Are you kidding?” Zelda laughed. “Lots of men love a woman with a little meat on their bones. Why, my Link was looking at you so intently when you started plumping up, I nearly had to hit him in the back of the head for staring.”
Samus grinned as she remembered Link’s reaction to when Peach had gone up several sizes during her match. The boy had almost dropped his jaw when Peach’s ass had started to blow up like a balloon. Link had almost started to drool and Samus didn’t blame him, Peach was smoking hot. “There’s someone out there for you Peach who isn’t Italian or a plumber, trust me. There’s someone for everyone. If someone like Kirby can get a girlfriend, it’ll be a snap for a big babe like you to snag a man.”
“Kirby’s got a girlfriend?” Peach muttered in amazement, forgetting about her own problems for a minute at the mention of the pink marshmallow having a significant other.
“You bet. Met her once, real cutie. Names Tiff, I’ll introduce you to her the next time she’s around. Think you might like her, real take charge kind of gal.” Samus watched as Peach slowly started to come out of her funk and started smiling again. Zelda and Samus nodded, seeing that their talk was working. Both girls really liked the princess, she wasn’t as much of a creampuff as she thought. There was strength in her that they wanted to bring out and all it would take is a good push in the right direction.
“Thanks girls, I feel much better. You’ve given me a lot to think about. It’s time to get dressed and stop tearing myself down. There’s a big world out there and I’m going to find my soul mate. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get ready” Peach politely told Samus and Zelda as she got up to get changed. Seeing their work was done, both girls decided to let themselves out. They glimpsed Peach heading to pick out a new, bigger dress to try on and they headed out of her room.
“Think she’ll be okay?” Zelda asked Samus as they left Peach’s room and closed the door. Samus frowned, she wasn’t certain if Peach was going to be completely fine. Peach was fragile right now and all it would take is one rude word or set back to send her spiraling back into a depression. They needed someone to convince Peach fully that she wasn’t weak or ugly. One person came to Samus’s mind that Peach respected enough to listen to.
“I think it’s time we talk to a certain blue hedgehog.”
