Sensing that ths was something important, Birdo bent her head down to the bed. Fired out with a great speed and with the classic sound effect, her belly deflated as Tails plopped down next to his new girl.

Wrapping his arm around Birdo’s slim pink waist, a very content Tails smiled at his collective friends and acceptances. Nuzzling up to Birdo, he cheerfully greeted everyone. “Hey guys, hope you don’t mind my disheveled fur, I just finished having sex with my girlfriend Birdo. What are you doing in here anyway, I’m trying to enjoy the afterglow of the sex I just had with Birdo? Can’t we talk tomorrow; I just had sex with this incredibly hot girl. She had let her friend down, by not coming to her right away with this. Birdo knew how close Peach was with Daisy, and would want to know if something had happened to her. She had just had so much on her mind, specifically a fox that seemed to actually like her. Tails had been on her mind all day, and she had all of forgotten about Kootie Pie coming except for how cool Tails had been when he tricked her. Right now, Birdo felt like a crappy friend.

“I am so sorry for not telling you Peach. I know how much you care for Daisy and I should have told you right away. But you were having so much fun, and I was having so much fun, and I though for sure Mario and Luigi would rescue her somehow later on so I….”

Peach interrupted Birdo there, her expression softening as she looked her friend with less anger. “Birdo, Mario and Luigi were eaten with Daisy yesterday, along with a few other people.”

“What?” Birdo gapped, jumping up from the bed in shock at the news of the Mushroom Kingdom’s heroes being eaten. Mario and Luigi were considered the greatest heroes in the kingdom, which was kind of sad when you think about it. The two plumbers were seen as seemingly invincible, so the news of their defeat and devouring came as a huge shock to Birdo. Also, Birdo might have occasionally fought with the brothers, but she thought of them as friends as well. Hearing about their digestion was as sad as it was shocking.

“I’m sorry, Birdo. They’re gone.” Peach sadly responded, placing a hand on her friends shoulder. Seeing Birdo broken up over the brother’s fate allowed Peach to let go of her anger. If Birdo had told her earlier, it wouldn’t have helped either Mario or Luigi and only served to ruin her night. Peach may not have been attracted to either brother, but they were nice men that protected her without asking for anything. They were goofy and at times annoying, but they were heroes and most importantly her friends. Peach swore to avenge them both. Her next meal was going to be turtle Kootie Pie soup.

Fighting down her grief, Birdo looked at Peach, finding some joy in the fact that her blunder to inform the princess hadn’t ruined their friendship.
“ Who else was eaten?” Birdo worriedly asked. She had lots of friends in the Mushroom Kingdom and the thought of any more of them ending up inside that chubby snake's belly made Birdo feel sick.

“No one you know,” Peach quickly told Birdo before she started panicking. “Nearly everyone she ate was part of the Smash tournament. Apparently, over the last few days she’s been tracking down different fighters and eating them. So far, she’s gotten Fox, Roy, Pikachu, Ness, Ike, Marth, Lucas and a pair of Ice Climbers.” All the names meant nothing to Birdo, but meant a lot to Peach. She had either seen or met each of the people she mentioned. None of them she was very close to, but just knowing them made the impact of their deaths hit her. Each one had been a person, eaten for the joy of a sick monster.

“That explains how she got so big,” Birdo muttered under her breath. A dozen people eaten by one person, it was scary to think about, especially when Birdo realized that Kootie Pie had set her sights on Tails earlier today. Looking at the sweet two tailed fox, Birdo felt a burning desire inside her to protect him. A day had passed between them, but so much had happened that Birdo didn’t think her life would be the same without him. She would protect him, even against the super sized Koopa princess.
“How did you find out about this?” Birdo curiously asked.

Peach opened her mouth to speak, but the previously silent Amy stepped forward. The pink hedgehog looked frazzled, not only by the news, but her own problems tonight. She was the only girl that hadn’t gotten to have their fun before this mess landed in their laps. She was still horny, leaving her very tense. “We were attacked tonight by Rouge, she’s working with Kootie Pie and spilled everything before she escaped, including who Kootie Pie is going to go after next.”

“Rouge’s involved in this?” Tails gasped. The sexy bat had never been on good terms with his friends, but going from thief to deadly predator was a stretch.

“She’s involved and is going to get the same punishment as her reptile accomplis,” Samus said coldly as she held her gun tightly. The passionate, seductive Samus was completely replaced by the universe’s deadliest bounty hunter Samus. What she had shared with the fat, bouncy bat didn’t matter anymore. She was a criminal who deserved justice. She’d just have to push their past encounter out of her mind and focus on one thing, taking her out.

“Lets not get carried away,” Amy blurted out. “Lets focus on Kootie Pie right now and who she’s going after.”

“And who’s that?” Birdo inquired. After hearing about all the people that Kootie Pie had eaten, Birdo wasn’t about to let her friends rush off to fight her. She was coming along. She wasn’t the best fighter, but she would carry her own. Whoever Kootie Pie was going after had nothing to worry about because Kootie Pie was in for one hell of a whooping.
