For Gwen Tennyson the greatest thing ever created by humankind was the Internet. More specifically, wireless Internet that you could get anywhere, even in the middle of nowhere inside a rusty old RV. Since Gwen’s summer vacation had started she had learned many things. One of the big ones was that having a cousin with super powers blows. The second thing was that she could do magic. Not pull a rabbit out of the hat magic, but real honest to goodness magic. Right now, she was trying to learn as much as she could about her new skill with mankind’s greatest invention, the Internet.

“Another website for ordering gimmicky magic junk,” Gwen sighed as she continued her search for real magic on the Internet. She had found hundreds of sites, all offering cheap junk and asking for credit card information. What Gwen was looking for was real magic, like the Charms of Bezel, but she was coming up short. She wanted to learn more about magic and what she could do. She already knew she had a talent for it, all she needed was a little bit of help finding out more.

“This is hopeless.” Gwen was about ready to close her laptop and call it a day, when one last website caught her eye. Deciding that it couldn’t hurt to look she clicked it open and strait away, she knew she had found something. The website was plain and strat forward, in big letters it asked one question and it wasn’t asking if she had Visa or Mastercard.

“Jackpot,” Gwen grinned and delved deeper into the site. She was certain that she had found something, but she wasn’t sure what. She clicked on information and a screen popped up briefly explaining what the website had to offer. In a nutshell, the site had a collection of powerful enchantments that would give the caster amazing abilities. It was a little vague on what these abilities were, but it said that as long as the person performing them had a talent for magic, they would be able to perform every spell easily. Gwen had seen enough; she wanted to glimpse at what kind of spells she could learn. A list formed and a title flashed to life above the file. Gwen’s eyes shot open and she slammed the laptop shut.

“Pleasure spells!”

That’s what it said, the spells were supposed to be used for fun naughty things, what exactly Gwen had no idea. Nor did she want to. At least that’s what she told herself. Gwen was going through puberty and with it a bunch of strange and frightening feelings were emerging inside her. She tried to ignore them, but it was getting hard. She looked at the closed laptop, knowing the website was still on it. What could it hurt looking at what the spells did? Just because she read them, didn’t mean necessarily she’d use any of them. She cracked the laptop open and looked at the first spell. Her face became flush and she began breathing deeply as she read about the first spell. She could hardly believe what she was reading.
