Chapter 6: Introduction to Mermaids   (ID #720127)
an addition by: Drez  More by this author

Mermaids have been in our folklore ever since we sailed the oceans for the first time. Indeed, mermaids (or merfolk) aren't the only mythological beings that we have legends about; there's the Dragon, the Unicorn, the Phoenix, werewolves, Kitsune, etc. Most of these mythological beasts tend to pray on humans as thier food. Indeed, legends about mermaids tell us that they lure sailors to thier deaths. Some legends say that the merfolk simply forget that we don't breathe under the water. But there's nothing to suggest that merfolk eat humans...the legends about them say that they lure sailors to thier deaths and doesn't say anything about eating those dead sailors. However, it is a well-known fact that the merfolk hunt and eat humans.

The Old Wreck--for that what it was called by the merfolk and fish alike--was an old human ship that had sunk to the bottom of the ocean for unknown reasons. The most likely reason for the sinking of the ship was that the ship had a large cargo of gunpowder and some stupid human had been careless about a match. The name of the ship has been erased by time and rot, so the name of the ship is unknown..that's why it's known as the Old Wreck. Skeletons of humans are everywhere around and in the ship, thier bodies slowly being eaten away by fish and water. The Old Wreck was quite a distance from Altantica, the home of the merfolk and of King Tritron. It was, in fact, quite close to Ursula's lair. Ursula the sea-witch had been banished by King Tritron for trying to steal his tritron...and for eating other merfolk. Once, Ursula was a highly praised person and advisor to King Tritron himself. However, as fate would have it, Ursula tried to steal the king's tritron to gain more power for herself alone. That crime had caused her to be banished. The eating of other merfolk was a minor crime at the time, but today it's a crime punishable by death or banishment. Today, Ursula's diet has shifted from merfolk to a much tastier meat--humans. Ursula would turn into an attractive human female to lure men to her...and then, she would gobble them up. Ursula liked to feel the struggles of her food in her belly, so she tended to eat her meals whole and alive. Ursula was once skinny and fairly attractive, but after years of eating humans, she had plumped up a bit. Ursula and other merfolk like the taste of humans. The younger the human, the more tasty they would be. Old humans didn't taste as good as the younger ones.

Now, here are the options

1) The story takes place shortly after Ursula has been banished from Atlantica, but before the events of the movie.

or

2) Other vore options with Merfolk.
