Lander is the lone survivor of his family - as far as he knows, and of his species for that matter. His father was a Fox, and his mother was a Cougar.

Lander has saphire-blue fur and emerald-green eyes, standing at almost 6' even. He has always had quite a bit of skill with blades, though it doesn't come up very often.

His parents were both murdered while on a vacation to a seemingly uninhabited planet soon after he was born. His father was set ablaze, while his mother was pinned to a tree by a spear through her chest.

He was found a week or so later by a family of Dragons, and later, was taken in by the Star Fox Team when they were doing a routine sweep over the system. After a while, he was sent off to the Academy, and returned not too long after that, with a high rank, even beating Fox's! He now spends his time tagging along with the Star Fox Team, not a member, but a close friend.
