Youre timing was as impeccable as ever... for a slug. By the time the giant big-breastesed ninja had reached the location of the screaming ditzy flat-chested chosen, she had already been swept away in the arms of the heartless angel.
Uh... wait a sec. You squinted your eyes to try and get a good enough look at the angel that abducted Collette. Odd... you never knew angels were made of metal...

"LLLYOOOOOOOOOOD!!" you could hear poor Colette screaming out in vain for her tiny boyfriend. Objective Failed.
"NO! WE'RE TOO LATE!" Sheena screamed in shame. Shame that she failed to rescue her comrade. Normally, it'd be no problem since this is a videogame you've played through a couple of times, you could just tell Sheena where to find Colette and give away a couple of spoilers. But you dont remember seeing a metal angel boss in ToS... maybe Shin Megami Tensei, but surely Aaron didnt screw up the universe THAT bad!

"ARCHOS!! COME BACK!!!" you heard Aaron screaming off the top of his lungs from one of the huge footprints in the snow, "I"M THE ONE YOU WANT!! LEAVE HER OUT OF THIS!! ...Damnit!" 'Archos'?
Aaron groaned loudly in shame. So loud, you could hear exactly where in the middle of the footprint he's in. You looked down from atop Sheena's gaping bosom to see the other guys were there too, surrounding him. Well, at least theyre ok. No one got decimated from Evil Aaron's wrath. Too bad, Evil Aaron might be the LEAST of your problems now.

"Damn John, damn doppelganger, damn father, damn Archos, DAMN ALL OF YOU!" Aaron was venting, up until he saw little old you riding on big ol' Sheena! "Uh... oh... um, when I said 'Damn John' I wasnt talking about YOU John. I meant another John-"
"Sheena! You made it!" Lloyd was the first other person to look up at her. Genis, Regal, and Kratos joined in... then Zelos, glaring into your soul from hundreds of feet below!
'That's right, Carrot-top! YOUR woman put ME in HER cleavage!' you wanted to shout like a boss, but you did not have the balls.

"Guys, thanks goodness youre alright," Sheena leaned down and scooped the tiny crew in her hands. Genis and Regal seemed relieved to see you again, despite where youre standing.
"Geez, John! Dont scare us like that!" Genis scolded you, "I mean, c'mon! Flying through the air like that like a trapeze artist! What if Presea didnt catch you?! I mean sheesh... you worried Regal half to death!"
"Hm?!" Regal turned his head to him with a raised eyebrow, "but I never-"
"I'm... sorry for worrying you Regal," you apologized, "I know how much I mean to you... like a bro and all."
Despite his thick, hardened, non-emotional facade, he actually blushed a little and got nervous, "Uh...well... just.. dont do it again, ok?" Damn, he's manly.

Unfortunately, the group hug would have to wait. "Who was that guy?" Sheena questioned, "the winged guy that took Colette?"
"Why dont you ask HIM?!" Lloyd glared over at Aaron and understandably so.

Aaron remained silent for a few moments. That was a bad sign. He was hiding something.

"Aaron. Who is Archos?" you spoke for the rest of the group.
Aaron lowered his head, "I... I cant tell you."
"Oh you can and you will!" Lloyd whipped out his sword, but Zelos and Regal managed to stop him, "grr... Colette's been kidnapped because of you! You owe us an explanation!"

Aaron started breathing heavily and sweated. Whatever he was hiding, it was BIG. Aaron's been known to keep major secrets, but this one was apparently a GINORMOUS one! What could top the Dark Aaron that possessed Sheena and nearly caused the female crew to eat you?!

"C'mon Aaron," you were the only one playing good cop, "you need to tell us what's going on."

Aaron lowered his head, "No, I cant. Believe me, I cant. Youre not ready to hear it."

"Was Mithos ready to hear it?!" Kratos finally broke out of his silence. Aaron's eyes widened when he heard that! "Tsk! That's right! I overheard a bit of your damn conversation with him. The name 'Archos' came up a lot in your discussion with him. As well as 'King Siegfried' and 'Queen Alexandria'." Siegfried? Alexandria? Who the hell are they? "Stop pulling the wools over these fools' eyes. Tell them the truth!" How much does Kratos know?!

Aaron gritted his teeth as everyone's eyes were on him. He still didnt bite.
Unlike the others, Kratos wasnt patient.

"I've had enough-"
"AAGH!!" Aaron screamed the moment he was grabbed by Lloyd's dad and put his blade to his neck. Everybody flinched at the sight!

"Whoa whoa whoa! Kratos, let him go!" you jumped off Sheena's boob and onto her palm! Everyone else kept their space, probably thinking of a way to break Aaron free without the risk of cutting his throat!
"C'mon, 'Mordechai'," Kratos emphasized the last name, "tell them the whole story!"
"Kratos, stop it!" Lloyd tried to talk some sense into him.

"Like I said, justice will be served," Lloyd's dad spoke.
"Grr.. what the hell would a videogame character know about JUSTICE?!"
*Bzzt!* Suddenly, Aaron whipped out what looked to be a stun gun from his pocket and stung Kratos in his thigh!
"YAAGGH!!" he let a fierce shout of pain and dropped his sword, giving Aaron ample opportunity to pick up that sword and point it to HIS throat! Damn, you never knew the nerd had it in him... then again, there's a lot you dont know about Aaron... if that's his real name!

"Aaron-"

"DONT MOVE!!" he shouted, using Kratos like a hostage and waving his stun gun around, "DONT COME ANY CLOSER, I SWEAR TO GOD I'LL USE THIS!!" The others had no bloody clue what to do! Aaron was desperate! There's no telling what he would do at this point!

Once again, this was up to you. You were his best friend. If anybody could talk some sense into that super-intelligent maniac, it would be you.

You slowly and carefully approached him and talked quietly, "Aaron... please..."
"John, stay out of this!" he warned you, "this has nothing to do with you."
"Aaron you need to calm down," you kept talking to him, "if there's something going on, you know you can tell me about it."
"John, maybe you should get away from," Sheena was thoughtful to worry about you, but-

"It's alright, I can handle this," you insisted then turned back to Aaron, "look, you know me well enough! We been through so much together! We're like uh... comrades in arms or whatever it's called."
Aaron started to lower his stun gun. It was working!
You continue, "Most importantly, youre the one I trust when it comes to keeping secrets! There's nothing about me I havent hid from you, you know that well enough, right? That's cuz I trust you. You can trust me. Whatever is going on... we can get through this together. But you have to trust me."

That's it. That's all you could tell him. All that remains is to wait for his response. Did that pep talk manage to get through that thick skull of his?
