Arcana? Why did that name ring a bell? Lets see...you knew this was the Battle City arc...so who were the duels in that one before the finals and semi-finals? Oh yeah, now you remember...wait a second...AW CRAP! NOW you remember this guy!

Arkana was once the greatest illusionist and magician since Harry Houdini himself, in love with his assistant, Catherine, who was also his fiancee. He fell into despair after a dangerous illusion he had apparently done "a million times" went awry, scarring his once-beautiful visage, which led him to wear the mask that is seen today. He was too ashamed to let Catherine see him in this state, and, in his anguish, drove her away, despite later hearing her saying that she would not have cared about his disfigured face. Ruined and depressed for causing his love to leave him, as well as losing his career due to the incident, Arkana stumbled from day to day until he met Marik Ishtar, who promised to help him regain the love of his fiancee if he became a Rare Hunter. Upon assigned in the Battle City tournament to duel Yugi in which the loser gets his legs chopped off by a buzzsaw. The guy was an insanely sadist throughout the entire Duel. Furthermore, Arkana cut up his cards through the technique of "stripping" to draw them easier, and sacrificed his monsters in a cruel way to win. Arkana also claimed to know over one thousand ways to cheat at cards, and he uses those tricks to draw the he desires. This includes marking them or cutting them into slightly smaller sizes, as well as shotgun-shuffling them, even though it damages the cards, which he does not seem to care about. Arkana was also willing to sacrifice his monsters through the use of "Ectoplasmer", in a ruthless, uncaring, and even sadistically happy way, in order to gain victory. Yugi claimed that Arkana's method was sick and cruel, and that it is a disrespect to his own cards.

That PSYCHO was dueling Joey?! Aw crap! your existence must've changed the timeline! This guy was supposed to face (and get beaten by) Yugi! This wasn't good!

Ho man! Loosing to this guy would cost Joey more than a duel! And if Joey possably died against this guy, Serenity would be heartbroken! You couldn't let that happen!

In responce to your thoughts, some kind of avatar body suddenly formed in front of you. You couldn't help but staire at it. How in the heck did this thing show up?

The thing's body was slender, and the face was a blank, featurless white canvass like the rest of the body and it had blank, compleatly black spots where the eyes were suppose to be. A concentric circles, one eclipsing the other with strange symbols in between the two circles appeared and a dimon and a pair of triangles fromed a star formed in the larger, inner-circle on the avatar's forehead as well as within it's blank eyesockests, serving as eyes. The symbols all glowed a bright greenish-blue color.

What you failed to notice was the seal also forming on your forhead, and in an instant, the avatar was life-sized and you were looking through its "eyes" as it stood next to Jeoy.

You have the avatar look down and see a Chaos Duel Disk from the "Waking the Dragons arc" grow out of the avatar's arm, along with a dueling deck. Joey scowled at "you" for your actions, he didn't know what he was fighting against, or that the featurless doll you were using like a puppet was there because you wanted to save him for the sake of Serenity's happyness!

"Hey you weird jerk, this is my duel!" Joey shouted at your avatar, you wished it had a mouth to explain everything to him.

Arkana snorted, drawing both Joey's attention and that of your Orichalcos-Avatar to him. "A three-way-duel suits me fine! one or two, I'll take you on!"

Well...at least you can double-team this guy with Joey and save Serenity's older brother.

You activate your Orichalcos-Avatar's Chaos Duel Disk as Joey and Arkana activate theirs.
