Shinji yawned and pushed the sleepiness away. He had no idea what the reclusive First Child was doing here, but he wasn’t going to leave her waiting. She had always been nice to him, even if at times she seemed distant, Shinji knew that she was trying to be friendly. The blame for her problems rested sonly on his bastard father; if there was one person that deserved to be digested, it was that abandoner. The only thing stopping him was the detail that he would actually have to taste that jerk if he ever ate him. That thought alone made Shinji lose his appetite.

“Do you know why she’s here?” Shinji asked as he looked for his pants.

“Nope,” Misato replied with a shake of her head. “don’t bother looking for your pants, you’re going to be wearing a sheet when you go out there.” Misato tossed the bed sheet to Shinji and he numbly caught it in his hands. He looked at Misato in puzzlement, what was that tricky minx up to now? Seeing the loss of understanding on her lovers face, Misato rolled her eyes and pointed to the mirror over her dresser. Wordlessly, Shinji looked at the mirror to see what Misato was referring to, but saw only his own reflection. It took a minute for Shinji to understand what Misato was thinking; when he pieced it together, he slapped his forehead and felt really dumb.

“Rei doesn’t know about my new body, she can’t see me like this or she’ll freak out.” Although it would have been interesting seeing someone as well put together as Rei freak out, Shinji decided to reframe from scaring Rei. Wrapping the sheet almost entirely around his body, Shinji slid the bedroom door open and walked to the living room with Misato close behind him. He found Rei sitting silently in front of the blank TV, her eyes drifted over to his shrouded form and her head tilted in curiosity.

“Hey Rei,” Shinji waved. Even after coming out of his shell and fucking Misato and eating Asuka, Shinji still had trouble talking with Rei.

“Why are you covering yourself with a sheet?” Rei asked impassively. Shinji tensed up and was at a loss for words, how was he going to explain his currant wear. In the end he didn’t have to, Misato did it for him.

“He’s so sick that sunlight is hurting his skin. The sheet is to protect him from the sun.” Misato nudged Shinji once and he got the hint. He let out a dry cough and looked away from Rei. The only response Rei gave was lifting her right eyebrow a few inches up.

“So what brings you…” Rei prevent Shinji from finishing by standing up and saying something so shocking that Shinji immediately dropped the sheet in surprise.

“I have just had intercourse with classmate Kensuke Aida.” Shinji had not expected Rei to say that and the sheet lied at his feet. Misato was also going into shock, hearing that the cold pilot of Unit-00 had just done the Eva eccentric geek of her class was something Misato never though she would hear. Rei had also gone quiet; her revelation came from seeing Shinji’s new body. She wasn’t as into older men as much as Asuka, but even she had to enjoy looking at the older, buffer body of her team mate.

“You have changed, Shinji,” Rei said, breaking the silence that had settled over the room. Nodding numbly, Shinji dropped down onto the couch, not trying to hide his nudeness at all. The shock of learning that Rei had fucked one of his best friends was still fresh in his mind. Rei returned to the couch and looked over at Shinji, Her years roamed all over his body taking special care to look at certain parts of his anatomy more then other. Then a miracle happened.

“You shouldn’t point Shinji, it’s rude,” Rei said pointing to his erect penis.

“I will explain my recent activities if you explain your bodies metamorphosis.” Shinji blinked several times, looks like he overestimated Rei’s reaction to his change of body. Nevertheless, was it really smart to tell Rei everything? There was no way he could explain without mentioning the eating and who knew how Rei would react to that. The last thing he wanted was for her to go running to his father telling him how his son had become a woman eater. He looked over to Misato to see if she knew what to do, but she was still frozen after leaning Rei had gotten her grove on. Knowing the decision was up to him, Shinji took a risk and started talking.

“Me and Misato had sex, then she ate me, and then I came back like she visualized me as.” Rei only nodded, not at all surprised. She didn’t ask for more details or information. The short version was good enough for her.

It appears that Rei can explain her sudden lust as well as he came explain his towards Misato and her eating him.

After the pheromone has made you have sex, an over powering hungry over comes the disperser of the pheromone and they eat the nearest person to them.” Shinji nodded to all of this, it made perfect sense.

“So every time I have sex, I’m going to eat someone?” The sound of Misato’s voice made both teens turn to the adult who had returned to earth after learning about Rei’s infidelity.

“Yes, but I may have a solution.” Shinji wasn’t sure, but he would swear that he saw a smile start to form on Rei’s usually indifferent face.
