“Whoa,” Naru said, as she ducked at the last minute. The beam over shot her head by a good foot and went barreling forward down the hallway. Naru had no idea what had just past her, but she was going to find out. She went running after the beam, with Shinobu and Su following not to far behind. Running after a beam of light was not too easy in view of how fast it was traveling, but Naru managed to catch up with it when it bounced off the curve of the wall and bent right down the corner towards the next person in its trajectory, Mutsumi.
“MUTSUMI!” Naru screamed, as the girl holding a watermelon saw Naru and waved, not noticing the beam heading her way.
