She could only regain her original size if she used her Goddess powers; which she refused to even consider unless things got dire. The thought of staying cooped up in her lab without anything to work on for seven days sounded almost as bad as her seven hundred year imprisonment by Kagato. Better to face the family, then be miserable until Habiki can get here.
“Sasami, take me upstairs. I might as well introduce the new doll size Washu to the family,” Washu sighed as Sasami walked to the dejected genius. Before Sasami’s hands could cup Washu, The miniature genius realized something important.
“Hold it Sasami, I don’t want to give Tenchi a nose bleed,” Washu said, indicating to her nude body. She summoned a napkin from her subspace pocket, which at her size was more like a small blanket. She quickly tore a hole in the top and wore the napkin as a toga.
“Lets go to dinner Sasami. I’m sure to be noticed instantaneously for my lack of bra and panties.” Washu grinned impishly, she may be the size of a mouse, but her sense of humor and vulgarity hadn’t diminished in the least. Washu was picked up by the young girl and carried up the stairs slowly. To keep her balance on the uneven palm, Washu held on to one of the big fingers that surrounded her. Looking over her shoulder, Mihoshi followed behind with a blank expression on her face. Washu promised herself to avoid the dim blond until she wasn’t a smushable in size. The door at the end of the stairs ended and Sasami left the lab with Washu in tow. Washu glanced around the living room and compared it to how it looked at this size. Furniture seemed like mountains to Washu in her currant size. The television was a giant monolith casting a shadow upon all that was under its glare. Small things like dust and lint seemed to stick out in this vast space. At Washu’s size, this room seemed alien to the extraterrestrial woman.
“Washu, everyone is in the kitchen waiting for you to start supper. If you want, I could tell them you aren’t feeling well and will be missing supper?” Sasami said upon seeing the reluctance Washu was feeling.
“It’s cool Sasami, if I don’t face them now, I won’t be able to face them later. Just do me a favor, if Ryoko laughs when she sees me, give her a smaller serving for supper?” Washu asked Sasami with a smile beginning to shape on her face.
“Can do Washu,” Sasami said with a warm smile of her own. As Sasami walked into the dinning room, Washu took a big breath and got ready to face the family. This wasn’t just embarrassing because she was small, it was also humiliating to admit that she screwed up.
“Everyone, Washu has an announcement to make,” Sasami said when she entered the dinning room. Everyone turned to Sasami, but his or her eyes quickly shifted to the tiny shape in her hand.
“I got shrunk,” Washu said simply. The family couldn’t hear the teeny voice that Washu had, but they understood what she was saying. An awkward silence filled the dinning room as no on said anything; Ryoko was the one to break the stillness in the room.
“Bwwwwwaaaaaaaa!” Washu rolled her eyes at the hysterical laugh. She would have the last laugh when Ryoko sat down to an extra small serving of rice.
