When Washu didn't want anyone to enter her lab, the closet under the stairs led to the closet that was already there before Washu came to Earth. Washu didn't do this often, but she was doing it off and on for the past view months nowadays. Of course, that also meant that Tenchi was probably with Washu in her lab for his 'Lessons'
Ryoko knew there wasn't any way to get to Washu's lab now. Washu had moved the entrance to her lab elsewhere, and it could be anywhere in the galaxy...hell, it could be in a galaxy that was far away. Nonetheless, Ryoko was determined to get Tenchi when Washu was done with him. There would be no Tenchi for Ryoko tonight...but, tomorrow is another story. Ryoko would shrink Tenchi down to size and have her way with him.
Right now, it was 11:00 at night. Most of the household was getting ready for bed. Even Ayeka seemed not to care of what was happening to Tenchi at this very moment.
Ryoko was in the living room, watching the news. It wasn't the earth news, of course. It was a news channel somewhere in the D'aningles Galaxy (which is a galaxy that hasn't been discovered yet by the Earth's telescopes). On the TV, a humanoid fox was reporting about a break-in at the Jurian Bank on some planet in that Galaxy. Someone had stole about 25 million Jurai and ran off...and completely disappeared.
"The Galaxy Police are baffled with this case" said the fox reporter. "but there was one piece of evidence left behind: A small red hair that belongs to the thief, or so the GP say..."
Ryoko really wasn't paying attention to the TV, because right then she heard Jack Constantine come out of Tenchi's room with the Shrinker.
"Fixed it" said Constatine, coming to the living room. "where's Washu?"
"In her lab" said Ryoko. "but you won't be able to get in her lab"
"Well, I'll give it to you, then" said Jack, handing the Shrinker to Ryoko. "I put a growth function on that gun now. Well...time for me to hit the hay"
Ryoko smiled at the shrinker.
