“Nice to see you sis,” Said the woman at the door that was a mirror image of Ryoko. When she saw the doppelganger, Ryoko gaped and wondered if the stressful search for Tenchi had fried her brain. She snapped back to reality when it clicked in her mind that the person before her wasn’t a hallucination, but rather her twin sister, Minagi.

“Have you seen Tenchi?” Was the first thing that came out of Ryoko’s mouth.

“Ummm, no,” Minagi said with a raised eyebrow. Something was up at the house and it was making her sister act two kinds of crazy. This concerned Minagi, but more so interested her. Seeing Ryoko so frazzled was something Minagi never expected to see. She expected screaming, shouting and chairs being thrown around, but never for Ryoko to pace and ramble as she looked for her wayward love. It was cruel to be amused by Ryoko’s suffering, but seeing that aggravated tic in her eye was just too funny.

“Is Tenchi missing or is he just hiding from you?” Minagi asked with a wide smile. Teasing Ryoko was so much fun, it was no wonder their mother loved doing it so often.

“He disappeared last evening. He didn’t sleep in his own bed.” Minagi’s eyes widened and her smile grew. Looked like ether Tenchi had been kidnapped, which was hard to believe due to Tenchi’s skills and power, or he was having an affair. It seemed like the Masaki home was turning into a cheesy soap opera.

“When was the last time you saw him?” Minagi asked pryingly. She wondered if there was a chance Tenchi had run off with Ayeka. If that was the case then maybe Ryoko had a reason to be worried a little. Ayeka wasn’t likely to smoother Tenchi with affection like Ryoko did, but she could try to get some romance started with the innocent boy.

“Last time I saw him he was with Washu.” Minagi winced and suddenly started feeling really bad for her twin sister. If Tenchi had been with Ayeka, the worst-case scenario was finding them holding hands. However, with their mother, the worst-case scenario involved lubricate, edible condoms and a really big mess.

“Have you checked Washu’s lab?” Minagi asked. If Washu was with Tenchi the whole night, then there was a very good chance that Minagi would be getting a little brother or sister soon. Minagi had no idea that as she stood there, she was getting a new brother, but he wasn’t little and he was coming a lot sooner then she suspected.

“Of coarse I checked the lab? What do you think I’m stupid enough not to think she could of taken him there?” Ryoko snapped. Taking a calming breath, Ryoko regain her composer and began to think.

“I’m going to check around the woods for Tenchi, could you check the fields and by the lake?” Ryoko asked.

“Of coarse I’ll help,” Minagi told Ryoko with a nod of her head. Before running off into the back of the house, she shouted one last thing to Ryoko.

“Tenchi was probably just kidnapped by evil space pirates!” Her words reassured Ryoko of her man’s chastity and she began to hover off towards the forest, where she hoped to find her lost love.
