Minagi looked everywhere in the house. Most people that were in the house were still sleeping. The only people awake--if you can call them people--where the Guardians of Jurai, Azaka and Kamidake. Ayeka had enlisted the help of the two Guardians in the search for Tenchi. Now, Ayeka was sound asleep in her room, along with Sasami. Ryo-oh-ki was sleeping beside Sasami.
"Washu has also been missing since last evening" said Azaka, when Minagi asked where was Washu. That confirmed Minagi's thoughts...Washu and Tenchi were probably together. Which meant that Minagi could look forward to have a brother--or another sister. Minagi went to the kitchen after 10 solid minutes of searching for Tenchi and her mother. She was intending to get something to eat for breakfast. That's when a pale blue light surrounded Minagi and she vanished from the kitchen.


Minagi found herself in Tenchi's room--or what looked to be Tenchi's room. She had just looked in Tenchi's room just five minutes ago, and nobody was there. Now, there was someone in the room. It was Washu! Washu in her adult form, which surprised Minagi.
"Ah, Minagi!" said Washu, getting off of the bed and hugged her other daughter. It was then when Minagi noticed that Washu had a big belly. Yep....her new sibling was in there, no doubt. Minagi returned the hug.
"Ryoko's been looking for ya and Tenchi" said Minagi. This made Washu giggle.
"I bet she has" said Washu.
Minagi looked around the room. "I just checked this room five minutes ago...and you weren't in here"
"This is a subspace pocket" said Washu. "only I can teleport people here or send them back. It's made to look like Tenchi's room. I did a pretty good job of it to"
"So..you're adding to the family?" asked Minagi, gesturing at Washu's pregnant belly.
"In a matter of speaking" said Washu, smirking.
"So where's Tenchi?" asked Minagi. "He's not in his room or in your lab"
"I think it's time for you to come out" said Washu to her belly.
"The baby's due now?!" asked Minagi, who was slightly paniced. She didn't expect to witness the birth of a new sibling!
"Oh yes" said Washu. "care to help me?"

The woods that surrounded the Masaki house went on for miles and miles. Tenchi often walked deep into the woods whenever Ryoko and Ayeka were having thier fights about him.
Ryoko was hovering a little above the ground, looking everywhere for a sign of Tenchi...or Washu. She knew that Minagi was coming...her twin sister had contacted Washu and told her she was coming for a visit. That had been one month ago. Ryoko was surprised to see Minagi so fast...usually, it took forever to get to Earth because it was so remote. Minagi must've been in a hurry to get here, mused Ryoko as she continued her search.
A twig snapped somewhere behind Ryoko, and she whirled around to see what had caused it. She couldn't see anything that could make a twig snap...but then, these were very dense woods. Ryoko waited for 2 minutes, just hovering and listening. When she waited long enough, she continued her search. Must've been an animal, Ryoko thought.
