"Sir, come here," the man called out to the other man only know as doctor. The doctor turned to the man, giving him his full attention. He walked to the man and looked over his shoulder.

"Mmmm, interesting," he said as a screen on the machine that brought them there beeped and flashed. Stroking his chin, he typed in a series of commands on the dash board and the screen returned to normal.

"It seems that all it needed was a check up. We're just lucky that you had a doctor in the house," He chuckled and the girl rolled her eyes.

"I suppose we should head home now. If we rush then we'll be home in time for crumpets and tea." The man and girl nodded eagerly and followed him into the blue machine. Before the door closed, Sasami walked down the upstairs hallway. She had her face in her manga and didn't see the machine, until it started making a whirling sound. Caught off guard, she lowered her manga and looked down the hall at the phone booth like machine just as it disappeared. She caught sight of a strange man with a striped scarf.

"Who the fuck was that?" Sasami asked.
