Everyone knows not to mess with a Ctarl-Ctarl. They're stronger than any Terran, they all have short tempers and they can swallow anyone alive and whole. A Ctarl-Ctarl loves to gorge on Terrans. The peace treaty between Ctarl-Ctarls and Terrans forbids a Ctarl-Ctarl to eat someone as soon as they set eyes on them. However, the treaty does allow for Terrans to volunteer to be snacks of a Ctarl-Ctarl. The stomach acids of a Ctarl-Ctarl are strong enough to digest pretty much anything.
That's not the only thing that makes the Ctarl-Ctarl a fearsome enemy. They can change into a wolf/tiger form that's far more stronger than thier normal bodies. Ctarl-Ctarls are fierce enemies and very loyal friends. A Ctarl-Ctarl would never eat a friend of thiers (unless the friend was foolish enough to make fun of all Ctarl-Ctarl). It's fairly easy to insult a Ctarl-Ctarl, and most people tend not to do that.
Aisha Clanclan is a typcial Ctarl-Ctarl; She has a *real* short temper, she's stronger than any of her Terran friends.
Of course, Aisha hadn't planned on making friends with Gene Starwind or with Jim Hawking. The two were fugitives of the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire, and the empire ordered Aisha to eat the pair. Aisha had flat-out refused to eat Jim and Gene (although she didn't say that to the empire) because they were such good friends. However, Aisha was tempted to eat Gene, because the Terran was nothing but a booze hound and slept with ALL women that he could get his hands on. Jim Hawking viewed her as a bigger sister, which surprised Aisha. Terrans tended to be scarred to death of Ctarl-Ctarl, but not Jim.

Our story begins at night.
The nightlife of Heifong City can be fairly dangerous. But not to Aisha Clanclan. Other people were robbed during the long nights, but criminals knew better than to rob from Starwind and Hawking Enterprises. If anybody stole from that place usually ended up in Aisha's stomach.
Jim was working on the budget, like he did most nights. Gene continued to spend what little money they made on booze and women. Suzuka made money as an assassin, but she didn't usually share her money with Gene..and if Gene ever asked, Suzuka would beat his ass into a bloody pulp.
Gene was right now at some dive, no doubt looking for hookers. Melfina was watching a movie on TV. Suzuka was out on one of her bounties. Aisha was at her job at the Seafood resturant that was rebuilt after Aisha had destoryed the old one.
"Aisha should be home right about now.." said Jim, looking up at the clock on the wall. It was 10:00 at night, and Aisha got off work at 9:30. Sighing, Jim returned to work on the budget for the month, when Aisha walked in the door.
