Out of the corner of his eye, Jim saw Aisha leave the room followed by a cage that had 15 Terrans in it. Was Aisha really going to eat all 15 of 'em? Jim knew that Aisha had a big appetite, but he didn't knew that she could eat 15 Terrans....granted, they were children, but still! Trisha glanced at what Jim was looking at and gave a soft chuckle. Jim turned back to Trisha.
"Terran kids are a favorite meal of Ctarl-Ctarls" said Trisha.
"I know" said Jim, as he was in a room full of Ctarl-Ctarls chowing down on kids. A few Ctarl-Ctarls were looking at Jim with distain and loathing. Jim's collar was saving the young Terran from going down a Ctarl-Ctarl throat. Jim tried to be sorry for the fate of the Terran children in the cafeteria, but he couldn't mourn every one of 'em. Did that mean that Jim didn't care about the Terran kids in the room? Did that little fact made him less Human?
"So, do you really think the commander can get all of those Terran brats down?" asked Trisha, once again mistaking Jim for a Ctarl-Ctarl.
"I dunno" said Jim. "I've seen Aisha do some incredible stuff"
"Incredible for a Terran maybe, not to a Ctarl-Ctarl" said Trisha.
"Alright, how many Terrans could you eat?" asked Jim.
"Do you really want to know?" asked Trisha.
"...Yeah" said Jim.
Trisha smiled, showing Jim her fang-like teeth. Any other Terran would be scared of a smiling ctarl-ctarl, but Jim had seen Aisha smile like that before.
"The crew members can only have a total of 3 Terrans to eat at meal times" said Trisha. "commander bitch can have all the Terrans she wants. However, I can persuade someone to bring a cage full of Terrans down to my quarters"
"Won't you get in trouble?" asked Jim.
"I've gotten away with this before" said Trisha.
"Hey, Trisha" cried a voice from across the room. "don't hang around with that puny Terran slave! You're only tormenting yourself"
Trisha looked around and spotted who had yelled at her.
"At least I don't sell slaves to the Kl'graan pits" yelled back Trisha.
"Kl'graan?" asked Jim. He had read about the Kl'graan Pits in the geology book in Paige's room. the Kl'graan Pits were tar pits that housed Kl'Graans in them; huge dinosaur-like creatures. A long time ago, a Ctarl-Ctarl would hunt down a Kl'Graan to prove that he or she had reached adulthood. Nowadays, just for fun, ctarl-ctarls would throw Terrans down to the Kl'graan Pits and see them get devoured. This act is considered to be "inhumane" on the home world of the Ctarl-Ctarl because the Kl'graan don't swallow thier food whole.
"Come on, Jim" said Trisha, getting up from the table. "I usually do that when I want a late-night snack...I'll do it tonight. For now, let's go back to Paige's quarters to see if she really ate that Terran"
Jim got up from the table, and walked with Trisha out of the cafeteria. Trisha's belly sloshed back and forth every time she took a step, and Jim could hear her stomach gurgling from behind him.
"So...you didn't answer my question" said Trisha. "would you like to rub my belly?"
"Sure, but let's wait until..." Jim started to say, but stopped short when Trisha bumped him from behind with her bloated belly. The bump made Jim stumble a few steps and fell to the floor.
"Even my belly is stronger than you" laughed Trisha.
Jim got up from the floor.
"Wait until we get to Paige's quarters" said Jim, smiling at Trisha.
