Jim was at a loss for words. Death wasn't really a new concept for him. During his time with gene he'd seen the deaths of a number of Kei pirates, bounties, and marauders. In fact, Jim was responsible for several of those deaths thanks to his skills with the XGP's weaponry. Still, there was something frightening seeing his friend Aisha stuff a living breathing human into her mouth and swallow him down without even batting an eye. Jim couldn't help but imagine the pirate trapped inside the catgirl’s merciless belly, beating on her tight stomach walls, screaming for help. But in all likely hood, knowing the Ctarl Ctarl's fast metabolism, her stomach acids had probably already stripped the flesh from his bones. Aisha stared at Jim expectantly but the boy still didn't respond.

"Jimmy?" Aisha asked, a little worried.

"Oh...... Yeah we sure showed him." Jim muttered, not making eye contact.

"Here, hop in." Aisha extended her hand.

"No! I mean...... I should really go check on the others. Some of them might have gotten hurt in the fall." Jim ran off to go tend to their 3 fallen crew members.

Aisha watched him go, a little hurt. She didn't want Jim to be afraid of her.

The owner of the ice cream stand, who had been cursing at Gene for flying into it, had fainted at the sight of the titanic ex-ambassador, "Gene, are you all right?!"

Jim, using all of his strength, pulled Gene out of a container of rainbow sherbert, "Gene, speak to me!" Jim smacked his multicolored friend causing him to regain consciousness.

"Uggggghhhh, My head's killing me...... Melfina is that you? You came to check up on me! Come here!" A dizzy confused Gene tried to grope his partner.

"Get off me you idiot! I'm not Mel!"

"........ It doesn't matter as long as you're a pretty lady." Gene slurred renewing his attempt to snatch up Jim.

"I'm not a woman at all you pervert!" Kicking Gene in the ribs he was able to get away, "...... Well, he's fine more or less. I better go check on the others."

Suzuka, though she'd taken the worst fall out of all of them, was back on her feet in no time. Melfina was a bit harder to locate considering Jim never saw where she fell eventually he spotted her where she'd been thrown into a number of trash bags. Shaking her awake he went back to the center of the street where Aisha remained paralyzed from the waist down. Melfina and Suzuka went to go help Gene.

"Well... ummmmmm..... Are you all right Aisha? Can you move your legs?" Jim asked.

"Not yet....... are you scared of me?"

Jim was suddenly embarrassed and a little ashamed of how he was acting, "N- no, of course not."

"Because I don't want you to be. Jim that guy was trying to kill us. He got exactly what he deserved." Jim was silent for a while, then nodded, "Yeah...... I know."

"Well, it looks like I'm gonna be stuck here for an hour or so. Wanna wait it out with me?" Aisha extended her hand.

Jim hesitated but when he looked up into Aisha's pleading eyes he stepped forward and hopped in. He trusted Aisha, she'd always looked out for him as if he were her little brother. If anything were to ever happen to Gene she'd really be the only one he could turn to. Melfina would just be clueless and Suzuka would probably end up leaving, going back to her home system.

"Thanks Jim."

"For what?! All I did was get in your hand. It's not like I did you a favor." Jim shouted down at her, still embarrassed he had hesitated before.

Aisha just smiled.

"Hey, don't worry everyone...... I'm fine." Gene slurred, the two turned to face him.

Melfina and Suzuka were holding him up by his arms.

"I think you might have suffered some head trauma there Gene."

"Huh?" Melfina asked.

"He tried to grope me." Jim explained.

"Gene!" Melfina yelled at him, angry.

"Pervert." Suzuka muttered.

"Hey don't blame me! I wasn't in my right mind." Gene looked himself over.

He was covered from head to toe in ice cream.

"Hey Aisha, why don't you use that giant tongue of yours to lick me clean?" Gene asked slyly.

"Pervert." She muttered.

The crew hung out for a while. Gene was hoping Aisha could get moving again before the ice cream vendor came to and slapped them with a bill. About 40 minutes later Aisha was able to start moving her legs again. The Kei Pirate hadn't done much to fill Aisha up though she was surprised at how well the terran tasted. When she was able to get to her feet she still wanted to go to the seafood restaurant. Scooping up her fellow crew members she headed towards the restaurant.

"I want blowfish, and steam broiled eel, and calamari, and deep fried clams, and....."

"Oh man, there's no way we're gonna be able to pay for all this." Gene moped, "I'm going to owe Fred another 3 million wong in no time."
