Miroku knew where their hands were heading, and considering their state, knew even more what they had planned for the group. And stuck between rocks and a hard place left little option for any escape.

"Shippo, a distraction! NOW!"

The still traumatized Shippo hurriedly threw several smoke bombs onto the ground, only to be stopped as they ran by Naraku's floating form.

"Oh, come now. Where's the fun in you leaving? The main event is about to start!"

Miroku wasn't afforded the time for a comeback. Kagome's huge hand had already clasped around him, raising Miroku up to her face. Similarly, Inu-Yasha's hand clasped around Sango.

"Let me go!" Sango yelled, going as far as to try and stick her sword in the half-demon's hand. Unfortunately, it was to no avail as he quickly swatted the weapon away.

"Shippo! Do something!" Miroku yelled, even as he looked on at Kagome's all-too-eager face.

"What?!"

"I dunno, anything!"

The young fox was frozen in fear. The situation in his mind was too much to bear, so it was no surprise when one of the poison bees stung him in the head, causing the child to collapse.

"Now what lecher?!" Sango angrily asked, finding her struggles increasingly futile.

"Well, if you don't mind being part of a four..."
