He felt compelled to follow, a sense of duty sending him out to find what appeared to be four pairs of gigantic feet.
He knew what that meant. That didn't mean he was going to stop.
There were two reasons he kept going. The first was that he would have felt guilty if he hadn't done anything. Shippo was always seen as a third wheel by Inu-Yasha, and in a sense, it was true. He was probably the worst fighter in the group, although he managed to survive just fine without the group.
No, the truth was that Inu-Yasha was a glory hog, swinging that big sword of his around. The young youma laughed out loud at that thought, although no one else had heard him. Still though, considering the amount of times they had saved him, Shippo felt obligated to return the favor.
The second reason was curiosity. He had seen big things before, but seeing his friends at that scale was just...odd to him. He wanted to know exactly what Naraku had done, and more importantly, why he made them so big. Miroku mentioned something about Kagome not being hurt when she was screaming, and even though it shouldn't have, the thought nagged at him. If he wasn't hurting her, then what was he doing?
Finally, after what appeared to be an hour, Shippo had come across something. Unfortunately, he had no idea what to do about it. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
