Once again, a demon had a Sacred Jewel Shard, and was misusing it. Miroku bashed with his staff. Shippo used his Fox Fire. Still it stood.
"IRON REAVER SOUL STEALER !!" Inuyasha shouted delivering the final blow.

"Ha ! it wasn't so tough" he said gloating. "Great job Inuyasha" Kagome complimented. "Yeah, no thanks to you, you didn't do anything" he said. "Hey, by the time we grabbed our weapons it was dead" Kagome countered.
"It does seem odd that the demons strength wasn't increased that much" Sango added.

"That's still no excuse for being lazy" Inuyasha said. "Lazy ?!" Kagome said offended. She then snatched the shard out of his hand "Give me that".
"Why are you so stinjy ?" Inuyasha angrily asked.

"You know what Inuyasha I-" no one noticed the shard in Kagome's hand reacting to something.
She stopped, and smiled "I was wrong, I shouldn't have yelled at you". "Wha ?" he was shocked. "It's true, ooh, I never noticed how cute you look, especially with those ears" Kagome said playing with them a little, and sounding very aroused.
"Come on Kagome you know I hate....did you just call me cute ?" he asked confused.
It was then that she snapped out if it "Hmm, I did, but,"

There was an awkward silence. Then Miroku said "Okay, let's keep moving". The others followed. "Weird" Shippo said before turning from Kagome.
While the others walked off, Kagome confusedly looked at the shard as it glowed in her hand.
