Skuld turned to leave, but before she was out of the door, she paused. Closing her eyes tightly, she mustered up her courage and spun around to face the new lovers in bed. She reminded herself to keep her eyes on their faces and not their nakedness. Who would of guessed that such a scrawny guy like Keiichi would be packing such a big piece of meat.
“You had to be lying when you told Keiichi that he needed to be eaten every twenty-five hours. It’s your style to manipulate mortals through that kind of ploy.” Keiichi looked over at Urd and thought about it, it was true that Urd could be manipulative, but telling him he’d die unless she ate him every day was going to far. He caught Urd’s eye and they looked at each other. As soon as he looked into her big green eyes, he knew that she hadn’t been lying.
“Urd was telling the truth,” Keiichi said forthright. If he didn’t have a little faith in Urd, how could he ever say that he loved her?
“But she’s got to be lying,” Skuld whined and became desperate. “It only makes sense that she would make up something like that so she could continue her sexual entertainment without any complaints.”
“Skuld listen to me, when Keiichi’s body was digested, the only body I could give him was temporary. Goddess can only create bodies that last a short time. If Keiichi’s body doesn’t go into a new body, his old one will literally fall apart.” Keiichi grimaced as a mental image of what that could be like raced through his mind. Falling apart seemed like a real crappy way to die.
“But why don’t you just put him inside a new body and forget about eating him?” Skuld was starting to buy the whole Keiichi dying every day part of Urd’s story, but there were still loopholes in her facts.
“Simple, Keiichi needs to die so his soul can be transferred into a new body and I can’t think of a better way to go then in the belly of a lovely Goddess.” Skuld shut up then and was on the onsets to skulking. She had really wanted to expose Urd as a liar, not so Keiichi would dump her and be available to date other people, like say a Goddess that had just gone through puberty and was getting all those funny feelings that come with it. She definitely wasn’t interested in Keiichi, even if he was nice, cute, fun, understanding, and looked hot; no sir, Skuld wasn’t interested in him in the least. She just wanted to embarrass Urd and that was it, no other incentive at all.
“Don’t look so gown Skuld,” Urd alleviated. “I said he needed to be digested by a Goddess, not by me. I’m sure if you asked nicely, you could have Keiichi as a snack. He really tastes good.” Urd grinned evilly as Skuld turned red from embarrassment. She scampered out of the room and left the door open. Urd began her high-pitched laugh that gave Keiichi the creeps. When ever she laughed like this, he all ways expects to see her in leather brandishing a leather whip and screaming, ‘call me mistress!’
“I wish you would whore out Keiichi like that,” a soft voice called out from the partly open door. Urd laughter stopped and they looked over at Belldandy standing calmly at the door. Keiichi gulped and prayed to the Goddess sisters father that Urd hadn’t lied about Belldandy being upset if they had sex.
