Keiichi had been a ghost for a little more than four hours. Since then, he had practiced doing backflips in mid-air, doing the backstroke. It was weird to do all those things in mid-air. He was like an astronaut, but he wasn't in outer space. Hell, he could survive in outer space now. Freed from his body, Keiichi explored the city as a ghost. He went through solid walls and looked into other people's houses. He never stayed in someone else's house for long, just long enough to glance around. He visited NIT, which was empty so late at night. He visited Megumi's apartment and waved at the earth spirit that lived there. Keiichi had returned to the shrine at about sunrise and waited for Belldandy and Urd to wake up. Skuld was up at sunrise, working on one of her inventions. But, as much fun as he had being a ghost, he missed having a body.
Urd stirred in her sleep and woke up and saw the transparent Keiichi floating above her. Belldandy had went off to make breakfast.
"Good morning" said Keiichi.
"Good morning, lover" said Urd. "had fun being a ghost?"
"Yeah, but I like having a body" said Keiichi. "so will you resurrect me?"
"Of course" said Urd. She then got an evil glint in her eye. "after breakfast, though. I don't resurrect anyone before breakfast"
Keiichi didn't know to laugh or not.
"I'd like some breakfast too" said Keiichi. "and I can't have breakfast when I'm a ghost"
Urd sighed. "alright, alright"
In no time, Keiichi was back inside a new (sorta) body.
"Ah, that's better" said Keiichi.
