It was just a normal day...if you can call living with three goddesses normal. Urd was most likely watching one of her soap operas. Skuld was probably working on a new invention in her room, and Belldandy was in the kitchen cooking dinner. Keiichi was in his room, going over a paper he just wrote for school. Keiichi nodded, liking the 500-word essay he had just written. He was pulling out yet another sheet of homework, when Urd came into his room. Keiichi just glanced at the bronze-skinned goddess before turning to his new sheet of homework.
"What do you want?" asked Keiichi. "I'm busy"
"And bored out of your mind" said Urd, which was of course right. Doing homework was a long and boring process for Keiichi. He liked doing the homework, but it was boring sometimes. Keiichi sometimes worked long into the night doing homework; Just 3 weeks ago, Keiichi had pulled an all-nighter doing homework.
"Aren't you missing your new show?" asked Keiichi.
"It's over" said Urd.
"So why come to me?" asked Keiichi.
"I was just thinking" said Urd. "...are you going to marry Belldandy?"
The question made Keiichi drop his pencil to the floor. He turned his head so fast, it felt like he had given herself whiplash. Urd was grinning. Keiichi sighed. The question had been a joke.
"Who said it was a joke?" asked Urd. Keiichi sighed again. Living with 3 goddesses means that you never get any privacy. 2 out of the 3 goddesses could read Keiichi's mind. Skuld could read Keiichi's mind only part of the time.
"You've confessed your love of Belldandy two months ago" said Urd.
"Thanks to that potion you made" said Keiichi drly.
"Candy" corrected Urd. "and that candy was meant for you...but, it all worked out in the end"
Belldandy had been practically horny on that fateful day. It had been embarrasing to be seen in public with her.
"It makes sense to marry someone if you love them" said Urd.
"I..." started Keiichi.
"Keiichi" said Belldandy, sticking her head into his room. "you forgot to buy milk"
"Damn" said Keiichi. "I knew I was forgetting something. I'll pick some milk up right now"
Belldandy went back to the kitchen, while Keiichi and Urd walked to his motorcycle.
"How could you forget to get milk?" asked Urd.
"It must've slipped my mind" said Keiichi.
"You had me on your mind" corrected Urd, who grinned at the shocked look on Keiichi's face.
"Anyway, you three are the only ones that drink milk" said Keiichi.
"Why don't you drink it?" asked Urd.
Keiichi and Urd was beside his motorcycle by now, and Keiichi was looking for his helmet. It was nowhere to be seen, which puzzled Keiichi. He had always left his helmet with his motorcycle.
"I'm lactose intolerant" said Keiichi.
"I see" said Urd.
"Have you seen my helmet?" asked Keiichi.
"No..." said Urd. "do you really need it? The store is just 4 blocks away"
"Uhh, I guess not" said Keiichi. "I was taught to always wear a helmet. But I won't need it for such a short trip"
High above the shrine, Marra was there and holding Keiichi's helmet. She smirked.
