Thankfully, Haruko didn't follow Naota to the shower. He thought it was weird because that wasn't like Haruko at all. He just shrugged and took his shower, completely Haruko-free.
"<I'll scrub your back at a later time>" said Haruko in Naota's head. The voice in his head didn't startle him, which surprised him slightly. If any other human heard a voice in thier head, they'll go through the roof..literally.
"<I'm going to go out for a bit>" Haruko's voice said.
Naota sighed and continued his shower, not thinking about his new 'mom'.

Haruko exited the bread shop and looked around. She was sure she had sensed her OTHER adoptive son around. Loverboy didn't stay away from her for long. She was wondering what he had been doing lately. It was his job to pay attention to her, and that could be VERY annoying to the alien girl.
Yes...Loverboy was in a block radius of her now.
"<Couldn't stay away from me, you ungreatful son"> Haruko thought at Amarao.
"<Don't call me 'son'>" came the voice of Amarao in Haruko's head. "<I see that you gave me a brother>"
"<What if I did?>"
"<The poor kid has been through enough with you>" said Amarao's voice. "<you shouldn't have him crushing any buildings on my watch>"
"<It's his choice to crush buildings>" said Haruko. "<as I recall, you went on one rampage through Mabase and you ENJOYED it>"
Amarao appeared on his vespa a moment later. He pulled to a stop in front of Haruko. He was still wearing those god-awful taped-on eyebrows. He was wearing an expression of bemusedment.
"That was because they cancelled my favorite TV Show" said Amarao sullenly.
"All that for a TV show" said Haruko, smiling.
"It was a good show" said Amarao.
"So, you admit that you liked your little rampage" said Haruko.
"Of course I enjoyed it" said Amarao. "I was a kid at the time. I was legally stupid"
This made Haruko laugh.
