The TV screen showed that the cloaked figure was in the city--which was a 3 hour ride. Even on Haruko's vespa. Mabase was in the middle in nowhere, alright. Naota noticed that the city was on the edge of the TV screen.
"Hmmm..." said Haruko. "He's not close....probably scared him off" She looked pleased with herself.
"Any idea who he is?" asked Naota.
"Nope" said Haruko.
"He said he was from your past" said Naota.
"Yeah, so what?" asked Haruko.
"You think we better look for him?" asked Naota.
Haruko thought about it for about a minute. Naota noticed that the flashing dot that showed the cloaked figure had gone off the screen. Haruko went over and smacked the TV hard.
"Hey, it isn't the TV's fault" said Naota.
"I guess we wait until he shows up again" said Haruko, who sounded annoyed at that prospect.
"How long will that be?"
"I dunno" said Haruko. "might be 5 minutes from now...or 5 months...I don't care. But if he shows his face again, I'll kick him in the ass"
Naota was still wearing the towel around his waist. He was digging around in his dresser, looking for some underwear to put on. But he couldn't find any of his underwear.
"Haruko..." said Naota. "where's my underwear?"
"You don't need it" said Haruko. "I think it's time for me to show people my big belly"
"You don't mean..?!" asked Naota. Haruko grinned.
"Yep" said Haruko. "since I didn't get to have fun with you last night, I'll just unbirth you here and now"
