Haruko had seen some pretty strange stuff in her lifetime; Robots coming from a kid's forehead, the same kid having no brain in his head, Canti masterbating to a tool magazine, but seeing three women and one boy coming out of a TV screen topped them all. In her journeys through the cosmos, Haruko had seen beings that might as well be called Gods...or Goddesses, as the case might be. When Urd told Haruko that she could bow to her, Haruko grunted. Haruko didn't bow to anyone. The two other women got up from Ed, allowing the boy to get up. The smallest of the three women was about Ed's height.
"All of you are Gods?" asked Ed.
"Goddesses" corrected Urd, turning to face the boy who had spoken. "The boy with us is a mortal"
"My name's Keiichi" said the young man with the three women.
"My name is Belldandy, and this is Skuld" said a woman with light brown hair.
Urd was looking at Ed in wonder. She had never seen anything like him before; of course, she knew what had caused the boy to lose two of his limbs. Ed was looking into the eyes of Urd's purple eyes and couldn't look away. He felt himself being pulled in with those eyes.
"What brings three goddesses like you here?" asked Haruko.
"We're searching for someone named Naota" said Skuld, holding up a picture of Naota holding his guitar. "do you know him?"
Haruko quirked a brow. "Yes...he's my son"
"Your son?!" asked Skuld.
"Relax, Skuld" said Urd. "this Haruko is an alien from a distant galaxy and a friend to Naota's....although, 'friend' may not be the right word. Haruko unbirthed Naota...so the lad has a faux mother"
"You know a lot, don'tcha?" asked Haruko.
"I know all" said Urd. "I can read minds, look into the future.....for instance, there's a bomb scare going on in Boston right now...wait til they discover the 'bombs' are really a promotion for a TV show on Adult Swim" here, Urd cackled in laughter. Haruko, Ed and Keiichi had no idea what Urd was talking about.
"Anyway" said Belldandy. "have you seen Naota lately?"
"Nope" said Haruko. "the little brat must be back at the resturant"
"No" said Urd, who had suddenly looked in the direction of a high school on the opposite side of the street. "he's in there"
"Huh?" asked Haruko. "how did he get passed by me?"
"Well, we were all busy not becoming Officer Jenny's lunch" said Ed dryly.
"And Naota was well hidden at the time" said Urd.
Haruko found Naota with her mind-link to him. Indeed, he was in the basement of the school....in the hideout of a thief called Mouse.
"Well, let's go" said Keiichi.
None of them noticed a black limosuine was pulling away from the school as they were heading for it. Not even the three goddesses.

"Damn" muttered Jonas in the back of the limosuine. "they're going to be trouble"
"Who are tho...?" started to ask Gary.
"Just drive back to the hideout" spat Jonas, reaching for his cell phone. It rang a moment before Jonas opened it.
"Yeah, boss? Yes, three women just appeared from nowhere. Well, what now? Okay, I'm heading back to the hideout right now, and we should be there in less than 20 minutes"
Jonas hanged up the cellphone. "Floor it, Mr. Oak"
Gary pushed down the gas petal to the floor and the limosuine sped down the road and headed for the highway.
