Haruko rolled her eyes after hearing Belldandy tell them that a demon was blocking their power. “So, a demon is helping the bad guys, just great. How can we tell this guys a demon at all? I’ve been called by plenty of people a demon, how do we tell that demon apart from everyone else out to kill me?”

“Well, for one thing, demons have marks on their foreheads a cheeks. These marks distinguish demons from everyone else,” Urd explained, giving Haruko an angry look. They’d only met the annoying alien girl a few minutes ago and already she was starting to get on Urd’s nerves. Haruko was a promiscuous, know it all, that treated everyone like playthings. Everything Urd was. There was only room for one sultry, Supreme Being.

“Hold on a sec,” Mouse said, suddenly realizing something important. “These marks, can they look like red slashes over both eyes and two triangles on each cheek?”

“Yes,” Urd gradually said. She’d seen those style of marks before on a very old adversary of hers.

“Then I think we may have a common enemy. One of the people after me and my girls has those exact marks.” The room went silent and everyone looked between himself and herself. Things had just gotten much more complicated.

“Shit!” A blond haired women standing over a crystal ball cried. She had been looking in on the meeting between her current prey and her old rivals. The entrance of her main target had come as a pleasant surprise, but that delight was done the moment the three goddesses and their mortal lover stepped in. This could ruin her new bosses plans.

“What is it, Mara,” A seductive female voice asked behind the first class demon. Mara turned and glared at her partner. She’d been teamed up with the black haired beauty by order of the big boss. The women’s whining attitude about wanting to be human, really grated Mara’s nerves.

“Three goddesses just joined Mouse and his team of whores, and they have the boy.” The other woman nodded, knowing exactly who the boy was. She was the one that had located him in the first place. The boss had put her and Mara in charge of watching him once it was determined that he had enough N.O. Energy for their needs. Mara’s partner frowned and sat down to think. Their boss wouldn’t be happy to hear this, he had specifically stated he wanted no heavenly interference with his plans for the boy. With Mouse and the goddesses watching over him, getting him under their control will be a lot tougher. An idea came to the woman and a smile formed on her black colored lips.

“I’m going out.”

“Where?” Mara asked. If the boss came and wanted to hear what was going on, Mara had no desire to tell him how fudged up their plan had become. The women turned to Mara, a smile on her face, but a dull lifeless look in her eyes.

“It’s time that I introduce myself to Mii and Rongo.” Mara watched her leave, not too sure what the woman was up to. She sat down and leaned back, letting out a sigh.

“I hope Lust knows what she’s doing.” Mara didn’t care if the Homunculus got hurt. Only fretful of it putting her work in jeopardy.
