He looked around the room full of goddesses, aliens and alchemists, with dejection. He had taken Naota here to pass on the message to others to stay away, but instead, he got over half a dozen people involved. Not exactly how he planed everything.
“Chin up, Sorata, it isn’t that bad,” Urd said optimistically. Mouse groaned loudly when the goddess revealed his true name, another mystery of Mouse down the drain. His girls flocked to his side, reassuring him that everything would be all right. After a few minutes of whispering, fondling and a few smooches, Mouse stood up confidently to address everyone present.
“Alright people, it seems we’re going to have to work together. We have a common enemy out for all our blood and we need to get organized. Mei, Hazuki, Yayoi, you four go out into the city and find Mii and Rongo, we can no longer keep them out of the loop. We’ll need their firepower if we’re going to take on this enemy face on.” the girls bowed to him and rushed off. They we’re glad their master was taking charge. Hiding away hadn’t been working out, even if it did let them get a lot of private time with the master, it wasn’t worth it if his mind was preoccupied. They focused themselves on finding the two elemental goddesses fast by splitting up and searching the city. Hopefully, they’d be in giantess form and easy to find.
Back in the command room of Mouse’s base, the charismatic leader was addressing everyone there. All of them listened and nodded their heads to Mouse’s suggestions and plans. Although easy going, Mouse was proving that he was also a brilliant tactician. Already he had several methods on how to find and fight their mysterious enemy. One person although was not impressed.
“Since this doesn’t involve me and I don’t know any of you, may I leave?” Ed said with annoyance. He had been dragged here by the goddesses spell and was itching to leave. He had more important things to do then figure out some over the top conspiracy. He got plenty of those back home.
Mouse was about to speak, but Urd interrupted him. “Are you sure you want to leave Edward. Your alchemy may be of some help to use.”
“No thanks, lady. I got my own problems to worry about,” Ed said, casually dismissing Urd.
“That’s too bad,” Urd said, showing her displeasure with a frown. “I guess you wouldn’t even be interested in helping us if I told you about the blood red stone with alchemic power I’ve sensed the enemy has.” Ed froze and turned rigidly to look at Urd. In the blink of the eye, Ed was right in Urd’s face.
“WHAT STONE!” he demanded loudly. Urd smiled coyly and wiggled her finger in the young boys face.
“Can’t say for sure, but once we’ve taken that demon out of commission, I might be able to find out more. But why do you ask, I thought you weren’t going to help.”
“Well you see, I can’t leave weak girls like you to fight this alone. So, I better stay to protect you.” Ed went on a bit further, going on about how his intelligence and fighting skills could help, but Urd was slowly backing away with a big smile on her face. She stood beside Mouse, smiling at the newly recruited solider in their growing army. Mouse leaned over and whispered into her ear.
“Did you really sense any blood red stone?” Urd’s smile grew bigger.
“Nope,” Urd replied, shaking her head in amusement at Ed’s readiness to listen once a certain stone is mentioned. He was just like all men, once you got them by the stones, you can make them agree to anything.
