"Well, in that case" said Lina. "I'm glad you picked me as your prophet" If Lina got a gold coin every time someone made fun of her small breasrs, she would be the richest person in the world and wouldn't go on any more adventures. Gourry always poked fun at her flat chest, among other people. But, looking for the scattered pages of the Vore Bible would mean that Lina would get big boobs, and Lina would give anything to have big breasts. For years, Lina had looked for a spell to expand her breasts but to no avail. It seemed the whole world was mocking the young sorceress for having such small breasts. Lina smiled as she ate a slab of pork.


"So, how many pages of this bible are missing?" asked Lina.

"Almost all of them" said the statue. "a band of people came in here around 50 years ago and fought over the Vore Bible. When the fight was over, the Vore Bible was completely destoryed and the band of people took most of the pages back to where they had came from. Gina came a week later and reconstruct the Vore Bible--such as it was"

"Gina is 50 years old?!" asked Lina in shock. Gina didn't look to be a day over 30.

The statue giggled. "A spell in the Vore Bible allows you to keep your youthful appearance by eating and digesting people. Doing that will extend your life"

"By eating people?" asked Lina. "this bible here lets you eat people?"

"Of course" giggled the statue. "why do you think it's called the 'Vore Bible' ?"

"Well, Xelloss didn't mention that little tidbit about the Vore Bible" said Lina sheepishly.

Lina swallowed an entire leg of a chicken in one bite. Lina then decided to open the Vore Bible and look through it. There were a grand total of 40 pages left in the bible...and it looked like the bible was a thick book at one point. Most of the spells in the book involved eating people. One spell made all of your orifices able to eat anyone. All of the spells in the book gave you the option of digesting the people you swallow or not. Lina didn't find the boob expansion spell though...that really did figure.

"I never saw a mortal eat so much" said the statue again. "that's the kind of person I want in a prophet"

"Yeah, I'll bet" said Lina, returning to the pile of food.

"Be sure to spread the word about me far and wide" said the statue.

"So..." said Lina. "how's come you wanna be heard about now? I mean I didn't hear anything about the Goddess of Gluttony before"

"My story has been wiped out by the other god and goddesses" said the statue. "they thought it was shameful that a goddess such as me should be worshipped. Nobody has ever heard me outside of Japama, but I want my word to be spread out. I was mad when you began eatting my offering of food...but now, I'm impressed a mortal can be such a glutton like myself"

"So, you use you eat your worshippers or what?" asked Lina.

"Why, yes" said the statue. "as long as they keep worshipping me, they'll stay alive in my stomach"

"Heh" laughed Lina. "how many people can fit inside a statue?"

"This isn't my real body" said the statue.

"I could've guessed that" said Lina.

The statue laughed. "But, as my prophet, I'll allow you to eat all the people you want"

"So...where do I start looking for these missing pages of the Vore Bible?" asked Lina.

"Take this" said the statue, and a long stick appeared in the statue's hand. The stick was 10 inches long and looked flimsy.

"This magical wand will point you to the missing pages" said the statue, as Lina took the wand from the statue. "it'll heat up when you're near a missing page. To activate the wand, you simply say 'Point me' "

"Point me" said Lina. At once, the wand turned to point to the west. The wand also got slightly warm...but not by much. The nearest page must be far to the west.

"Okay" said Lina. "now how do I re-attach the pages to the Vore Bible?"

"The wand will mend the Vore Bible when you find a missing page when you hold the page next to the wand"

"Alright" said Lina. "I'll start tomorrow. Right now, I'm going back to my friends and have a little fun with the Vore Bible" Both Lina and the statue chuckled.
