"Pull yourself out, dummy" said Lina to Gourry who was up to his elbow in the puckered entrance to Filia's intestines. Gourry tried to pull his arm out out of opening, which was now closed around his elbow. Suddenly, Gourry was sucked into the opening to the intestines just like that. One minute, Gourry was beside Lina and the next he was gone. Lina deadpanned and sighed.
"Gourry, you idiot" said Lina. "Now I have to come after you"
Lina wanted to leave Gourry in Filia's intestines to teach him a lesson for not playing with anything within a stomach, especially the entrance to the intestines of a golden dragon. Sighing, Lina pushed through the puckered entrance to the intestines and found herself going down a tight tube. Filia's intestines were less roomy then her stomach was...the intestines were only 15 foot wide. Lina casted a light spell in her hand as she landed on the squishy floor of Filia's intestines. The smell of Filia's intestines nearly knocked Lina out. So she did the bowel cleansing spell, hoping that it works on dragons. After a moment, the smell of digested food (and other things) were completely gone. Lina walked deeper into Filia's intestines, calling out Gourry's name.
"This was a great idea, Lina" said Lina to herself. "travel in Filia's belly to get to Mount Tolken....when I find Gourry, I'm gonna..."
"Hey, Lina!" yelled Gourry's voice up ahead. "come check this out!"
Lina followed Gourry's voice and found him in minutes. Gourry was standing besdie the entrance to Filia's large intestine...it towered over Lina and Gourry.
"Don't play with it" snapped Lina as Gourry made to put his hand into the opening.
"Come on, let's return to the stomach" said Lina. "levi..."
"Excuse me" said a voice from behind Lina. Puzzled, Lina turned around and saw a young man with blond hair looking at her.
"Who are you?" asked Lina.
"And how did you get here?" asked Gourry.
"I can't answer those questions" said the young man. "but...you haven't considered looking for a lost page of the Vore Bible in here"
"Of course not" said Lina. "the wand would've pointed to Filia if a lost page was inside her...hey, how do you know about my mission?!"
"Let's just say that we have something in common" said the young man.
"Oh?" asked Lina. "and what's that?"
"We've both met the Goddess of Gluttony" said the young man. "I'm a Prophet of Gluttony too"
"Then why haven't you shown yourself before?" asked Gourry.
"Lina actually has two missons" said the young man. "One is too recover the missing pages of the vore bible and the other is to...spread the word about the Goddess of Gluttony. Lina is only doing one of those missions"
"I'm a sorceress, not a preacher" said Lina.
"Quite right" said the young man. "but if you don't preach about the wonders of the goddess of gluttony....you'll never get cool powers like I have"
"What other 'cool powers' are there then eating people whole and alive?" asked Lina.
"Good point" said Gourry.
"Well, for example, you get the power to teleport yourself anywhere you want" said the young man. "that's how I got here; I teleported here"
Lina's eyes grew wide. Teleportation spells were very rare to find.
"And...you'll get other powers" said the young man.
"Like what?" asked Lina.
"I'm not telling" said the young man. "you'll find out of you start preaching. Well, I have to go now...I got other things to do than crawl around in the belly of a dragon"
"What's your name?" asked Lina.
The young man smiled before he vanished from sight, and he said "James"
"Uhh....didn't I digest you?" asked Lina. But James was long gone now.
"Uhh...that was weird" said Gourry.
"Life wouldn't be worth living if it wasn't weird" said Lina. "well,come on....let's go back to the stomach"
"Can't we stay here?" asked Naga, suddenly appearing from nowhere. "There's no mucus in here...right?"
