The rich boy felt weightless. Where he was once on an oversized table, with a humongous red haired woman looking down on him, now he was in what appeared to be a void. Trying to get the bearings on his situation, Kaiba spoke aloud the first thought on his mind.

"OK...she DID have a cute butt."

A powerful rumbling interrupted any further train of thought. Out in the distance was something resembling a ball. No, it was way too large to be a ball. As it came closer, Kaiba saw it was closer to being a planetoid than a ball. A planet with two large horns coming out of one side, one on each side of an impossibly large hole with terrifying fangs. Kaiba recognized the figure from his childhood, but why was it here?

"Unicron?! But I..."

SILENCE! the voice bellowed at the duelist, flinging him backwards into the void. Whether it was feet or miles, he didn't know, as the only measure of where he was happened to be rapidly approaching him.

It was also here that Kaiba realized maybe having a cute female God was preferable to the horrifying monstrosity in front of him.

"W...what are you..."

You spurned my kindness because of your sexist attitudes and idiotic attempts to justify your self-importance. Now I have taken a form that you respect. One that caused you fear when you were a child.

That wasn't fair, Kaiba thought to himself. He was an impressionable five year old. Seeing a giant animated planetoid eat another planet and all the people on it was scary.

"W...what do you want?" he finally forced himself to ask.

This is my command. You are to return to Earth, and when the time comes, you will use this against the one that has raised the ancient terror from Egypt.

In front of Kaiba appeared a card, of all things. The card had an open hand in front of it, but nothing else was written.

"What does it do?"

You will know when the time comes. Now, before you return to Earth...

A bright flash shot out from the mouth of Washu...or Unicron, or whatever this being was. When the light cleared, Kaiba saw a very long chain extending towards the planet in front of him.

"What did you do to me?"

What? What? Is that all you can say? Very well, I shall answer. This is the Chain of Fate. Should I need your presence here, or should you fail in your mission, I will use this chain to return you here, AND THE FEAR YOU FEEL NOW WILL ONLY BE A FRACTION OF THE PUNISHMENT THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE!

With nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide in the void, Kaiba shivered, clutching the chain that was now connected to his body.
