Mai was a little worried at first. But quickly, she found she had little to worry about, as she discovered she could use her magic and trap cards against them. She quickly defeated and ate any monster she came across.

She let out a window-rattling belch, caressing her three-story high belly, a cloud of feathers erupting from her gullet and settling down next to her tattered clothes, which shredded into confetti after her first three meals, leaving her totally naked except for her boots.

"Whooo. Fifteen Harpy Ladies, ten Kuribo, a couple Dark Magicians and Dark Magician Girls, seven Mystical Elves, a bunch of female monsters I didn't recognize (musta been new cards), and a Red Eyes Black Dragon. Whatever's happening, I love it! I'm sooo stuffed, but still hungry! I'm gonna keep eating forever!" she laughed, patting her tremendous belly as it groaned and gurgled, her meals' struggling visible as they were digested.

Staying at a safe distance, hiding in a card shop, was a Flame Swordsman, who was staring at Mai in shock, awe, and fear.

"Every single one..."

A card pack glowed, and another Dark Magician Girl came to life.

"Haha! Now, to devour everyone... in... Hey, Flame Swordsman, what's up?"

"Her weight," the warrior said, pointing to Mai. The Dark Magician Girl looked, her eyes widening.

"Oh my. A REALLY plump meal," she said, grinning and licking her lips.

"I wouldn't," Flame Swordsman said.

Dark Magician Girl scowled, glaring at Flame Swordsman. "Why not?"

Flame Swordsman simply pointed to Mai, who had grabbed a Gate Guardian and was swallowing it down rapidly, the Gate Guardian wailing in fear as the ravenous blonde devoured him.

Dark Magician Girl gulped nervously and turned intangible, phasing through a wall. "Umm... I think I'll go see if I can find a Dark Magician... Or something..."

Flame Swordsman nodded, unable to take his eyes off of Mai. "You do that."
