She ran toward the balustrade for her dear life, hoping it was not too late for her to get Grandisī attention and to tell her what exactly happened to her tiny friend. Of course, it was still doubtful whether Grandis would do anything about the eccentric inventor boy inside her stomach if she finally realized the situation, but in case of need, Nadia would make her spit him out or throw him up, heck, she would beat the crap out of her just for Jeanīs sake. Surprisingly enough, Nadia was not THAT worried about Jean as one might have thought. At least she was not worried in a way that would have been appropriate at that moment. Nadia knew exactly that Jean would be safe inside the womanīs stomach, as she had experienced it earlier with him being inside her own belly. So that was not the problem. Instead Nadia was afraid of Grandis leaving, thus taking Jean away from her. That thought was almost unbearable for her, imagining that her best friend, the love of her life she just met was about to be taken away from her after only a few hours. And Nadia swore that she would not let this terrible vision come true. And she would not only do it in order to save her tiny and helpless friend from his horrible living prison. She would also do it for her own sake. Jean was the boy who brought true happiness into her life for the very first time; it was his honesty and his own lively yet shy behavior that gave him a place in Nadiaīs heart immediately. She couldnīt even imagine a life without him anymore, although not even a day before, she didnīt know Jean even exists. But Nadia would not let anyone destroy her happiness again. Not now. Not ever. Amidst all the sorrowful and bleak moments of her life, Jean was like a single yet powerful ray of hope and light, and she would not allow this light to fade away just like that.
And Nadia reached that balustrade quickly, leaning over it and staring at that aircraft slowly drifting away from the Eiffel Tower, with its red haired captain standing on it. Grandis was looking completely into the opposite direction, thus not noticing Nadia. So Nadia simply had to make her notice that she was there.
"GRANDIS!"
Nadia screamed on top of her lungs, and her voice sounded really powerful at that moment, although she has normally a soft and calm voice. But it was loud and powerful enough for Grandis to notice. She turned her head into the opposite direction to see Nadia at the balustrade, waving with her arms.
"Huh? Whatīs the acrobat girl doing?"
"Maybe she likes us so much that she wants to say good bye?"
"Oh, shut up, you jerk!"
"Aye, Miss Grandis! Sorry bout that."
But not only Grandis was able to hear Nadia. Within the dark and threatening depths of Grandisī stomach, Jean suddenly heard a faint, but familiar voice. A soft and calming voice...and he knew immediately that it was Nadia yelling at Grandis. But that was not possible! The fleshy walls of Grandisī stomach as well as the thick layers of her flesh, her bones and her skin, thus everything that was located inside Grandisī body around her stomach, should have made it impossible for the sound waves of Nadiaīs voice to reach his ears at his current position. But he honestly didnīt care about how the heck he was able to hear his beloved girlfriend, he was just happy to perceive her voice. He stood up from the fleshy ground he was sitting on and looked up at the ceiling of the stomach - for no apparent reason. According to what Nadia was yelling, it was clear for Jean what this meant: Nadia knew that Jean was trapped inside Grandisī stomach, and she obviously tried to let Grandis know about the swallow-accident earlier. Words cannot describe the feeling of relief Jean was having as he heard Nadiaīs lovely voice. After his fall down Grandisī esophagus and into her stomach, there was a feeling of fear rising inside his soul. He was disturbed, as he was now inside a crazy womanīs belly, without her even knowing. And everything in there had been so different from Nadiaīs stomach; it was like an entirely new situation for him. The thought of him being trapped inside a complete strangerīs belly, oblivious to his terrible fate, was making him feel uneasy to say the least, but he was even more afraid of Nadia not realizing where he has landed. Nadia was by now the only person in the outside-Grandisī innards-world who knew about his shrinkage and who could possibly help him to get out again. So if Nadia hadnīt known about his current whereabouts, Jean could as well have been forced to stay inside Grandisī stomach for a long time...maybe even forever. Of course, even without Nadiaīs knowledge about his grim destiny, there could have been ways to get out of there again. He could have tried to get in contact with Grandis, although he wasnīt exactly eager to use this possibility, to be frank. That woman was incalculable, so he couldnīt even be sure whether Grandis would let him out again. There was also the possibility of crawling out of her mouth when she was asleep, but then what? Where should he have gone then? Of course, to Nadia, but how? With his size and without the size-change gun working, there was no way he could survive out there for such a long time. His only hope was Nadia realizing his situation, and as he heard her voice, all his fears were gone completely. He was sure that he would get out of there again, no matter how and when, as he knew that Nadia would do anything in order to help him escape his slimy organic prison. He was even confident that Nadia would follow Grandis everywhere in case of need. And he would have done the same for Nadia, that much was clear.
He shortly thought of yelling at Nadia, but it was highly unlikely that she would be able to hear him, for the same reasons why it was so incredible that Jean could hear Nadia, and at least Grandis would have certainly been able to hear Jean, but Grandis knowing about her tiny passenger inside her stomach seemed like an unpleasant thought. She could have held Jean hostage, forcing Nadia into handing over Blue Water in exchange for her tiny boyfriend inside the depths of Grandisī body. Thus Jean was forced to play the same role he was getting used to by now: sitting down and waiting for the things to come as a mere spectator, letting others decide about his fate. And he honestly hated this situation. He wanted to interfere with the current events as well, but there was nothing he could do about it. He could only hope for Nadia to settle this.
Now that Nadia had Grandisī attention, she had to tell her quickly about Jeanīs presence inside Grandisī stomach before it was too late; before the air craft was too far away. Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
