(This takes place 2 months after the Buu Saga)

It was just a warm ordinary day in West City. Traffic moved along the roads, people went to their jobs, children went to school, and tourists covered the fabled Capsule Corp Corparation. And just like any other day, Bulma was working on a new invention.

A large explosion erupted from the laboratory as the invention smoked. "Dammit! Why won't this thing work? I based it off my old Shrink watch except with the opposite affects!" Bulma shouted, tossing her wrench at it, the machine buzzed as a green beam shot out. "Oh Crap!" Bulma barely had time to duck as the beam hit the desk behind her. Slowly it grew to about a 1/4 of the size it formerly was.

"Well mom, if you treat it like that it's no wonder its going to go berserk." Said a calm voice from behind the machine. "Oh stop that Mirai! I'm technically not your mom. Now let's get this device ready. Gohan is gonna come by to get this to help his mom out with buying groceries." She said. Slowly a tall man with long lavender hair rose from behind the machine. "Sorry, its just kinda hard to forget."

Mirai had come from the future after his mom had died. Since mankind had rebuilt almost all that was destroyed by the Androids. He figured he no longer needed to be there. That and the fact they were scared of him and wanted him dead for the fear he could turn on them. Now he lived with his past Mom and Father.(Not that Bulma liked being called Mom by a 22 year old, made her feel older than she already was)

Suddenly Gohan had appeared in the room. "Hey guys." He said cheerfully. Bulma eeped while Mirai blushed and turned the other way. "Don't do that Gohan! Knock before you enter!" Bulma said, swatting him for his impatience. "I DID knock! But no one answered so I came in." Turning towards the machine he sweatdropped at seeing it smoking and sparks flying every which way. "I see it isn't working yet. Well I suppose my mom will have to go shopping again." His head fell down depressed 'And were going to have to listen to her nag more and more!'

"Hey Gohan!" Mirai said, walking dangerously close to him to the point they were touching. "Don't worry, stay awhile so that we finish you got it to take home." Blushing at such close contact, Gohan replied with a "Okay. But I have to be home by Nine or else my mom will KILL me for being late for supper." Turning away from each other, both prayed to be inches away from their lust objects.

Gohan had fallen over heels with the taller and more muscular Mirai ever since he had came back from the future. Him and Videl had dated for awhile but broke up after a few weeks. They felt more like friends than lovers. Of course now that Mirai was here, he kinda understood why.

Walking towards a seat. He sat down in the grown desks larger chair. Mirai and Bulma continued to work on the machine to get it ready.
