Ash had changed into a spare set of clothes after Misty checked him over for injuries. Misty had been so enraged at the waitress that she never got around to asking what she had done with Ash’s original clothes. The spare clothes Ash was wearing, were purchased at a specialty store that only sells Shrinky related products. The stores main items were mostly focused on the owner of the shrinky’s needs and not the shrinky. Ash had boggled at all the bizarre sexual and food related items that the store sold. They had clear dildos with holes at that back so you could put your shrinky in, jells to lubricate the shrinkees for those tight orifices, carrying cases to store shrinkees on the run, soaps to clean shrinkees, and hundreds of other dips and side dishes for the perfect shrinky meal. Ash had been really freaked out by all the weird stuff, he cringes whenever he saw the instructions on the back of the shrinky related toys. Thinking about all the perverse things that people had come up with was making him both nervous and a tad excited. He had nearly had a conniption fit when Misty started examine a tube of shrinky lubricant. Later, she claimed that she was only looking at it to tease Ash, but if that was the case, why did she end up buying it?
There was only one practical item in the store that Ash wanted and that was the shrinky clothes. Mostly young girls that liked to dress up their shrinkees for fun bought them, but for Ash, they were the only things preventing him from having to turn Misty’s old gym socks into improvised togas. Ash had gotten Misty to buy him a few dozen pairs of clothes, they may have been a tad expensive, but Ash never wanted to have to come back to one of these stores as long as he lived.
“Hey Misty, are you sure that we’re out of clean underwear?” Ash asked his friend from atop her head. He grabbed hold of her crimson locks and used them to scale to Misty’s ear. One of the only good things about Ash’s downsizing was that he became more nimble and strong. When a shoe becomes one of your greatest dangers and falling of a chair can leave you flat, being able to maneuver around uneven terrain becomes a necessity.
“I told you Ash, cleaning your tiny underwear takes time and I just don’t have it,” Misty explained calmly.
“Hold up,” Casey said while waving her hands around to get everyone’s attention. “You clean his underwear?” Casey pointed to Misty and she nodded without a thought. She may have been a friend with Casey before, but things change and she didn’t like the girl any more. Maybe because her total disregard towards shrinkees reminded her too much of herself, or maybe it was because since Ash had shrunken, the only person he talked to was her until Casey came around.
“Why not let Ash do it? It’s got to be easier then you cleaning his tiny little boxers.” Casey’s suggestion only made Misty roll her eyes and look away from Casey. She started walking away, but Casey kept up from behind.
Seeing that Misty was not going to be forth coming, Ash crawled out from her mess of hair and explained. “A couple of weeks ago I was cleaning my clothes along a riverbed, when a Magicarp swam up to me and ate me alive. I went down before I even knew it, one sec I was cleaning my pants and the next the world went dark and I was inside its stomach.”
“What happened?” Casey asked and Misty stopped in her tracks, and then turned around. Casey stopped to and saw Misty looking at her angrily. Her hands were on her hips and she was scowling hard at Casey. Ash was trying to reposition himself on her head so he was facing Casey. While he was trying to see past the Misty’s red hair, the girls were glaring at each other.
“If you must know, I noticed Ash was gone the second he was gobbled up. I knew the only possible thing that could of happened was that a water Pokemon must of swam up to Ash and eaten him while he was near the water. For the next five hours, I caught and gutted every fish that I could catch for that river and gutted them all alive.” miserably Misty looked away. One thing Misty loved more then anything was water Pokemon and to kill so many had been an awful experience for the girl. The only thing keeping her going was the fact that fish have horrible digestive systems and that gave Ash a good chance of survival. She just hoped that something big hadn’t gotten to Ash or Misty would never find him.
Seeing how upset Misty was, Ash finished the story for her. “So I must have been in that Magicarp for over an hour, it was all squishy and moving inside it and I kept falling over as it swam. It was right before the fourth hour that I started to feel all itchy, which is the first signs of the digestive process starting. Precisely when I felt my legs go numb, this huge knife cuts into the floor and I come falling out. The first thing I see when I land on the grassy ground is Misty hovering over me with the Magicarp’s belly slashed. If Misty hadn’t fished out that stupid fish, then I would have been killed, by a Magicarp!” Ash sounded more embarrassed then traumatized by the event. To die at the stomach of one of the worlds weakest Pokemon sounded like a pretty humiliating way to go. Kind of like having a sleeping Snorelax roll over on you, not so great going out on a cheap joke. Seeing the grim mood that had settled between Misty and Ash, Casey looked around for something to take their mind off the dreadful story.
“Hey look, a restaurant!” Casey shouted, pointing towards the nearest establishment. Grabbing Misty’s hand she pulled her towards the building, while Ash held her hair tightly to keep from falling off.
