He was a little worried about meeting his girlfriend’s sisters. It was still fresh in his mind the rivalry that she had with his own mother and how hard it was to get her to come around. From what Ash remembered about the three sisters, Delia was going to seem like a cakewalk. Delia just had to accept her shrinkee son dating a normal girl. Misty had the much more tricky task of getting a shrinkee to be accepted by three carnivorous she-devils that had an craving for his kind.
“Please let this go well,” Ash muttered softly to himself and God. He knew that Misty wouldn’t abandon him if her sisters disagreed with their relationship. She’d stick by him even if they threatened disowning her. However, breaking up Misty’s family was the last thing Ash wanted. He wished that everyone could get along and not gorge on his kind. He wanted to live in a world where everyone was equal and no one was left out because of their race, gender or nationality; a world full of love and peace. Oh, and if he was fantasizing, he might as well make the world made out of candy and have rare pokemon do the cancan. Sighing, Ash went back to agonizing on the meeting he was going to have soon. If he was right, then he was completely, utterly, without question, royally screwed.
Misty, completely unaware of her boyfriends sulking, led Casey backstage. She was excited about reintroducing Ash to her sisters; it would be so worth staying through their performance just to see their faces when she whips out Ash. She had no doubt that her siblings would be unable to understand what sets Ash apart from other shrinkees, but Misty was confident that after she displayed Ash’s uniqueness to them, they would be forced to admit she had a good boyfriend.
Something about Ash set him apart from other shrinkees and Misty wasn’t the only person who believed it. Sabrina, Delia, Daisy Oak, Casey all of them, different personalities, different stances on shrinkees, but they all believed Ash was special. Some people would consider Delia and Daisy acceptance to be expected. One was Ash’s mother and the other a peacekeeper, who refused to eat shrinkees. Even still, to accept someone as a person after they shrink was not a common thing. Family members were most likely to ether sold or eat a shrunken relative then they were to accept them back into the family. Peacekeepers were a dyeing breed, Daisy was the only person Misty knew that didn’t eat shrinkees and it dumbfounded her. Misty just hoped that when the girl slipped and joined the hungry females of the world, that she would keep her opinion of Ash the same.
What proved that Ash was special was his relationship with Sabrina and Casey. Both girls ate shrinkees and Casey was positively cruel to the little people. When someone as vicious around shrinkees as Casey treats one of them well, it’s a sign of how important that one shrinkee is. Misty glanced at the girl as they walked further inside. After only meeting Ash once, he had made such an impression on the aggressive Electabuzz Ball fan, that even shrunken, she had protected him. That kind of loyalty was hard earned and Ash had gotten that after only meeting her once. Truly, Ash was a very special person, even shrunk.
Misty and Casey walked past stagehands and security. Misty and Casey flashed their identification badges before entering the back stage and promptly walked on. As they got closer to the three sensational sisters, they spotted a line of eager males standing in front of a dressing room. The scores of males all looked raring to go and were shifting around and looking around anxiously. As they passed the line, Misty felt a pang of jealousy over all the attention her sisters were getting. She didn’t want an army of drooling fan boys, but a little acknowledgement wouldn’t hurt.
It was while they were passing by the line, that suddenly, one of the fan boys shrunk. As soon as that happened, a cry of joy rang out from the line and unexpectedly it came from the new shrinkee.
“Oh happy day, I’m definitely going to meet the three sensational sisters now. If what the fan site said was true, the sisters can’t resist a free shrinkee. I’m going to be their personal pet and they are going to love me and care for me and let me smell their underwear! This is the greatest day in my life!” He screamed out, hopping around and crying tears of joy. Then a hand snatched him off the floor.
“Yonk,” Casey said when she grabbed the tiny man off the floor. He kicked and struggled in her hand, crying how he was supposed to be with the three sensational sisters. Casey rolled her eyes and put the weeping shrinkee into her pocket for later. The three sensational sisters weren’t the only ones that couldn’t resist a free shrinkee.
“Daisy, Violet, Lily, are you decent?” Misty asked as she opened the door to their dressing room.
“As decent as we’re going to get,” laughed Violet. The girls were drying off from the performance. They were all wearing robes that matched their personal color at the make up table. Misty cracked the door open further and let her and Casey in. the three sisters turned to face their youngest sibling and they looked around expecting to see Misty’s boyfriend. They had been making bets on whether Ash was really her boyfriend or if she had just asked him to pretend on threat of pain. All three of them bet on the latter.
“So if I remember right, Ash didn’t have purple hair and an ugly yellow jersey. So where is our sisters beau,” Lily asked, indicating to Casey as the purple haired, ugly jersey wearing Ash.
“Why you little bitch, no one insults my style. Why I ought ‘a.” Misty quickly covered Casey’s mouth before she blew up at her sisters. She then, opened her right hand and showed her sisters the tiny naked Ash that had been waiting in her fist since the show ended.
“Ash has gone through some changes since you last saw him, but he’s my boyfriend and the only guy I want to be with. I hope you are okay with us being a couple?”
Ash waved halfheartedly at the three girls, who just looked down at him with slack jaws. They seemed to snap out of their shock one by one and big, plastic smiles replaced the looks of surprise.
“Yah, nice to meet you again ‘Ash’. Let us just change and we can go out for dinner,” Lily said, speaking through her big, fake smile. She ushered Casey, Misty and Ash out of their dressing room and closed the door behind them.
