This choice: Casey and Brad talk at breakfast, their relationship improves | Go Back

Chapter 92: Apology over toast   (ID #338649)
an addition by: chaos  More by this author

Taking her seat at the breakfast table, Casey placed Brad down beside her plate and picked up her toast. She smiled down contently at Brad, noticing that he had gotten out of his rut from last night. That was good because after thinking about it, Casey wanted the old friend even more to like her again. Somehow, the challenge of having to win back someone that seems to hate her, appealed to Casey’s competitive nature. It would be difficult and certainly not easy, but if she put the effort into it, Brad would be eating out of her hand.

“Toast?” She asked Brad, as she broke a few crumbs into her left hand and lowered it to the table. Brad at first hesitated, but slowly stepped towards her open palm and crawled on to pick up the offered food. He remained silent, hopping off quickly and Casey pulled back up her palm. She licked her palm clean of crumbs and found that she could vaguely taste Brad on where he had been crawling. Small crunching sounds came from Brad as he nibbled on the crumbs, much like how a mouse pokemon would. He finished quickly and looked up at Casey. He faltered several times, but finally managed to squeak out a single word.

“Thanks.”

“Why are you thanking me?” Casey asked smugly. “I thought you hated me?”

Brad blushed slightly and looked away from Casey. The embarrassed look on his face gave Casey the giggles. He looked so cute when he was nervous, like a tiny child that got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Casey wasn’t trying to give him a hard time, but rather an opportunity to explain himself about last night. What he said was done in haste and without thought; Casey knew that given a chance, Brad would retake his comments. Biting into her toast, Casey waited for Brad to say something about last night. Waiting for him to say anything to explain why he had blown his top at her.

“Casey, about last night….” Brad stopped to think of what to say. He was still pissed about her eating his friends, but she was only acting like any normal person would. It was hard to get angry with someone when they were doing something that millions of other people were doing every day. What had really set him off was how much she had changed since last they met. She seemed so different from the sweet, star struck fan he once knew that he didn’t know how to react. Last night, he had decided to try and treat Casey as someone new that he had never met. A stranger that he had no past with, but it was hard. Even with all that had changed, that glint in her eye of determination was still there. Reminding him of their past with one another. He tried to keep his cool and not be swayed by what had been, but he just couldn’t do it. Sighing, Brad began to apologize.

“I’m sorry I called you a monster and told you I hate you. I don’t hate you and I apologize. I was just frustrated abut you eating Lee and Tommy, but I guess that’s something you just do. You’re looking after me and saved me from the restaurant, so I guess I should be grateful. Thanks, Casey.”

Casey smirked down at Brad and patted him several times on the head with her finger. She had expected him to apologize about last night, but it was still satisfying to hear him say it out loud. Soon, he’d forget about Lee and Tommy, and she could reproach him about spelunking into her. After going a few days without a shrinkee wigging inside her twat or rectum, Casey was getting a bit edgy. Hopefully, if she can’t convince Brad soon to get physical with her, she can find another shrinkee to do the job.

“I accept you’re apology. I’ll try to avoid eating any of your other friends in the future.”

“That’s not going to be hard, everyone else I ever called a friend is ether dead or abandoned me.” Brad sulked for a moment and Casey gave him time to collect himself. It wasn’t easy accepting that you’re all alone. Then something occurred to Casey and she perked up a little.
“You got one friend who isn’t going to abandon you or die.” Casey pointed to herself. Brad cracked a small smile and then started to chuckle. Casey started giggling with him and before long, they were laughing hysterically. They stopped laughing when Misty and Ash walked into the kitchen and sat down beside them.

“What a beautiful day it is. The sun is shinning and the birds are singing. All is great with the world. All is fine. Good morning Casey, hope you slept well. Good morning, shrinkee Casey has yet to eat, I hope when you’re digested you feel little pain. Good morning, Mrs. Ketchum in the kitchen, lovely day! Good morning, everyone.” Misty opened her arms wide and beamed at everyone. She was positively glowing with happiness. She giggled at every little thing and fussed over Ash. Casey smiled back and even Brad did after her comment of him being digested. Misty was oozing out sunshine and joy to everyone at the table.

“Nice night?” Casey commented slyly. She remembered well the sight of Misty naked in bed with Ash diddling her with his whole body. That image had followed her to bed, where she silently wished that Brad would finally get over his dislike of her or that Misty would lend Ash out to her. It was very distressing to know that Misty was getting her brains banged out and she wasn’t.

“And how, not was the last part of my night good, but that psycho from Saffron is gone. Life couldn’t be sweeter.” Ash looked height up at his girlfriend as she set him down on her plate. He had enjoyed last night as well, even though it was a little rough for him. Bruises and bumps were just what being a shrinkee entailed. If he did get them from sex, then he would get them from someone gripping him too hard or from falling down. All those injuries didn’t bother him.

“Now, now, Sabrina isn’t a psycho.”

“Fine, psychic. All that’s important is that’s she’s gone and we’ll never ever have to see her again.” That was one rival down for Misty. Now, how to make sure that Daisy Oak doesn’t try to take her friendship with Ash any further?

“She’ll probably come back after she’s done with that rouge psychic.” Misty deflated and stared down at Ash. Why’d he have to burst her bubble with facts. As she wondered this, Delia poked her head out of the kitchen.

“Would you dears like any shrinkees? Some just arrived this morning and they look yummy.” Delia knew how they tasted because she had sampled one the moment they had arrived. Her last bunch had all been ether digested or suffocated in her, so she called the grocery store and told them to send the first batch they get in strait to her house. Thank God for small towns, where everyone takes care of one another. She waited to hear if they wanted any, silently hoping they’d turn her down so she could have more for herself.
