The older girl from Ash’s hometown had given up her protests against Misty’s treatment of shrinkees lately, which Misty appreciated. Nothing made it harder to digest a tiny struggling man then hearing whining. Without Daisy’s complaining, Misty almost enjoyed the other girls company. She was a hell of a lot better then the only other Daisy Misty knew, namely her older, spoiled sister. Mostly, Misty accepted Daisy because she knew the other girl wasn’t interested in Ash as a boyfriend or a meal. Having someone she trusted to look after Ash if she was busy was important. However, any goodwill would go out the window if this girl started bugging her about the one thing she took very seriously, Ash’s wellbeing.
“I’m sorry, you said you wanted to talk about Ash’s safety? Do you want some tips on how to properly care for shrinkees or something?” Misty said, very convolutedly. Daisy frowned and shook her head.
“I’m afraid my concern is more towards your treatment of Ash. I don’t think I could learn anything about taking care of shrinkees from you.” Daisy gave out a soft laugh, meant to be made politely, but to Misty it seemed very rude. She may be looking into that last part too much, but it sounded like Daisy just made fun of her. She briefly wondered if by leaving the table, would she be able to escape this annoying conversation. It was too early in the morning to get a talking to from Miss High and Mighty.
“I wanted to talk to you about something Casey told me that I found very distressing. Is it true that you and Ash have been having…” Daisy trailed off, a blush forming on her white cheeks. Leaning closer, Daisy whispered to Misty the last part of her question. “…Hanky Panky?”
Misty twitched slightly in her right eye, a habit she did in moments of great frustration. Her first thought, was that when she left the table, she was going to kill Casey. Nothing to grizzly, just maybe stab her in the back a few times. I mean honestly, first, the girl ruins her revenge on he dimwitted duo, and then she tells Daisy about her relationship with Ash in the bedroom. What right did that little tattletale have to reveal information like that? What she did with her boyfriend, in her bedroom, was between only him and her. What Misty also found herself a little pissed about was what Daisy had called what she did with Ash. Who in this century used the word Hanky-Panky to say sex? It was so stupid.
On the table, the other member of the inter-size couple blushed and found himself unable to look up. Ash was feeling very embarrassed by this whole thing. When he was with Misty, he knew that they got down to some perverted things, and he knew that he could become a real dog when he got into bed with Misty. Things changed for Ash when he got sexual with Misty, he felt his adrenalin shoot up and he wanted to touch her everywhere, especially inside. Normally, he was a well-mannered person, but once the clothes came off, he could do anything dirty. Just thinking about some of the things he wanted to do with Misty when she was lying down turned his member ridged.
Now even more embarrassed, Ash crossed his legs and hoped no one noticed his erecting, especially Daisy. The girl had been like a big sister to him growing up, always so nice and looking after him. She even took his side when he fought with her real brother. Now that he thought back about it, his rivalry with Gary really started when they started competing for Daisy’s attention. It was a stupid game they played, asking her to play with one of them, leaving the other alone. It was usually Ash winning those games and Gary ending up all alone. A pang of guilt struck Ash; maybe Gary was such a jerk to Ash because he always got his sisters attention? It made a lot of sense; ash would of certainly of resented Gary if their roles were reversed. Ash guessed he’d never know because he certainly couldn’t ask Gary. Misty had probably excreted him weeks ago. He could probably ask Daisy about it, but she was in a heated argument with Misty.
“What does my love life with my boyfriend have to do with his safely?” Misty spit back.
“Misty, if you’re using Ash, then that’s wrong for so many reasons. Not only could he be hurt, but you’re practically raping him!”
“Raping him!” Misty cried out in alarm. “Haven’t you ever heard about consent? Ash is his own person, he’s not some child unable to have a physical relationship.”
“But he is a child, and so are you! Your older then him and more importantly, you’re a hundred times his size. How are you supposed to have a real relationship with hanky-panky with him that size? Ash hasn’t reached puberty yet” Daisy had lost the calm, serene aura that she usually had. She had come to accepted many things because she knew she couldn’t do anything. She couldn’t protect every shrinkee met, which tore her up. She remembered those shrinkees on the boat, used by the bucketful and tossed away like toilet paper, some even used as toilet paper. She had tried to save as many of possible, but had only been able to find a fraction of the shrinkees onboard. She had tried and only made a minuscule dent in the number of shrinkees being abused and disposed of, and she knew it. All of her trying amounted to almost nothing; she had failed to even protect her own brother. By now, he was long gone and she hoped that whoever took her sweet, but very misguided brother was suffering at this moment. She hated herself for wishing pain on anyone, but she could never forgive the person that had ended her brother’s life so callously. Daisy knew she’d never find the person that ate her brother and even if she did, there was nothing she could do know to help him. However, she could help Ash. He was the sweetest, most caring person she knew and she thought Misty was caring him for, but if she was abusing him like Casey said, she had to act.
“Trust me, Daisy. I’ve seen that Ash has hit puberty. You could say he’s ‘pointed’ it out to me. As for the hanky-panky in our relationship, he can do it and let me tell you girlfriend, he does it very well.” Misty told Daisy with a wide Cheshire cat like smile. Daisy leaned back in her chair, aghast at what Misty had said. Her eyes diverted to Ash who was still deep in thought about Gary. Had his bond with the other boy's sister led to him being such a jerk and ergo, get eaten by Misty for being said jerk. Ash had always been a daydreamer and right now was no exception. All he could think about were the maybes. Maybe if he had been less greedy with his time with Daisy growing up, then Gary wouldn’t of been a jerk, and maybe if that was true, he would have been friends with the boy, and maybe if they were friends then Misty wouldn’t of eaten him. It was all giving him a headache and he could only think about one answer for his problem and that was to talk to Daisy. Not only could he find out more about Gary, maybe he could set things strait with her about him and Misty.
“Um, girls,” Ash said, taking the attention of everyone at the table. Ash turned to look Misty in her eyes and address her personally. “Mist, I think I’d better talk to Daisy alone and get this all figured out.”
“But, I…”
“Don’t worry about me. I don’t think Daisy’s going to be having me for brunch, so I’ll be safe.” Misty chuckled and Daisy looked horrified at even the thought about her eating Ash. Misty’s face hardened when she looked at Daisy. If this pompous bitch got between her and her man, there would be hell to pay.
