This choice: Ash is taking her to a facy private restaurant for dinner | Go Back

Chapter 143: Wine and Dine   (ID #411885)
an addition by: Oddler  More by this author

Setting everything up wasn’t easy. Being a shrinkee Ash couldn’t do things like make a reservation or carry a wallet. To make the night perfect he had to accept his limitations and go to Daisy for help. Daisy was more than willing to help him wine and dine his lover and best friend. His old babysitter found it cute and a much better alternative than leaving them alone in their hotel room. Who knows how long the two love birds had been engaging in hanky panky? Daisy hoped to see an end to it but she realized that she wouldn’t be able to monitor them when she left the group and caught a ship back to Pallet Town. Daisy just hoped Ash was using protection.

It was a hard fought battle but Ash finally convinced Daisy to accept his money instead of treating the two of them. If he wasn’t paying it wouldn’t feel right. His mom had saved up a sizeable amount of cash for college or to mass produce ‘Ash Ketchum: Pokemon Master and Elite 4 Stomper’ t-shirt merchandise, whichever came first (though in hindsight his mother had probably been kidding about the second option). Ash had realized long ago it wouldn’t be either. A shrinkee limited you both physically and legally. It didn’t matter though, the money would still be well spent. Taking Misty out to dinner and, eventually, buying her a ring.

The Restaurant Ash wanted to take her to was called the Pride of Pallet. A chef from Pallet town who’d traveled all over Johto and Kanto gathering recipies like they were gym badges. He eventually set up shop in Oldale. Despite that he paid homage to his roots naming the restaurant after Pallet Town. Meals usually couldn’t be prepaid for but Daisy was able to, after explaining the situation the manager, convince him to accept money in advance. Daisy paid out a great deal and the two lovers would really only be eating for one. Also, mentioning that both she and Ash were from Pallet probably helped.

Daisy set up a reservation and the two got dressed. Though there was no stated dress code besides ‘no shorts’ Misty couldn’t wear her usual outfit and Ash couldn’t go in the buff like usual. Ash put on some nice shrinkee clothes, the best you could buy, which still weren’t anything too formal. Khakis and a collared shirt. Misty wore a reddish dress that matched her hair and let her mini ponytail down. That night, after the two finished changing, they left with excited smiles on their faces, glad to be spending some quality time alone outside the bedroom. Daisy, Casey, Brad, Jessie, and James were left behind. Casey considered munching on James but thought better of it. The group just decided on pizza.

For Ash and Misty the dinner started off great. They entered together but most people only saw a bright red haired girl all alone with an outstretched arm. Misty came up to the maitre’d with a tiny boy nestled in her palm.

“Hi, table for two, Ketchum?” She asked, smiling down into her cupped hand.

“Aw yes, right this way miss…… and sir………………………………….. Your seats. Can I bring you anything to drink?”

“I’ll just have water for now, thanks. Ash honey?”

“I’m good!” The waiter nodded and gave a single menu to Misty before leaving.

After being seated Misty stretched across the table setting Ash down on his side. Sure there were stares but the duo was oblivious to them. Or more specifically, they just didn’t care. As far as they were concerned they had something special and neither was ashamed.

Misty opened the menu and Ash got up and walked over to scan it as well. Misty laid it down on the table and, strolling from menu item to menu item, Ash walked down its length. They finally decided on what to order. Ash walked back to his side of the table and sat on the smooth white tablecloth crossing his legs. He usually didn’t sit this far away from Misty when they ate but he was usually right beside her and not across from her. This way the two could look at each other easily. Misty could now eat without having to bend her neck downward and Ash could see Misty’s face and not just the underside of her breasts when he looked up (not that he had a problem with the old seating arrangement).

Misty ordered soup while Ash decided to hold off for the main course. They chatted about their future plans and what they would do after completing Prof Oak’s task. Misty was excited about hunting down legendary water pokemon. Misty’s boy noodle soup showed up and Ash was shocked to see their size. The males inside Misty’s bowl were much smaller than him. Probably only half his size. Such tiny shrinkees were rare but since the Pride of Pallet food was so pricey it made sense. They were considered delicacies after all.

Misty frowned down at her bowl. She wasn’t into small portions, being a tomboy at heart she was more interested in big juicy and meaty instead of tiny refined. She just shrugged than smiled down at Ash. They were on a date; she wouldn’t let something so trivial upset her. The young males in her soup didn’t protest as Misty set down her spoon and lifted the bowl to her lips. She started chugging down the broth in great big gulps. The tiny men didn’t try to fight the current even though it led into the maw of some hungry crude young girl nearly half their age. They spilled into her mouth and down her throat. Misty felt them tickle as a few brushed against her uvula. They, as well as the hot broth, filled up her normally flat tummy. Setting down the bowl she patted her belly lightly all the while smiling at Ash.

“How was it.”

“Delicious though not very filling……… Buuuuuuuuuuurp!!!!!!” Misty didn’t bother covering her mouth. Many of the other guests looked over surprised by the loud belch. Ash just shook his head embarrassed but he was smirking.

The two continued talking and staring at each other with big gooey eyes until the main course, flayed Psyduck, arrived. Misty cut off Ash a tiny piece and some vegtables. The two left hand in hand (or really boy in hand) after eating. Misty wanted to take a moonlit stroll. It had been a perfect evening for her, and later when they got back to the bedroom…… But that could wait, for now she just wanted to walk with Ash through a nearby park.

………………………………………………

“When did you guys get back?” Casey murmered grumpily while scratching her ass. She grabbed an apple and bit down.

“Late.” Misty replied. Casey was surprised to see the girl brimming with energy. Ash looked about the same too.

“How much sleep did you get?”

“Well, actually….” Misty blushed.

“We didn’t.” Ash finished.

“……… Oooooooooooh.” Casey went back to her room to change out of her pajamas. They were supposed to get an early start. Later that day they’d be in Little Root Town. Brad had rolled off her tummy when she'd first woken up and he was now snoring loudly on top of the covers, his mouth open wide.

Casey noogied him awake with her pinky, "Rise and shine Prince Charming."

"Ugh......... eat me." Brad rolled over onto his stomach and closed his eyes.

"If you aren't up in 5 seconds I just might!" Casey threatened. Inside her dirty underwear drawer Team Rocket was huddled together wondering what torture the giant blue haired twerp had planned for them today. Jessie was the most worried, and for good reason. Despite the fact that the twerp had picked her to be Brad's girl Casey was very possessive of him, in less than a day she'd grown to loath the red headed rocket, Jessie was afraid things wouldn't end well for her.
