When Delia reentered the kitchen, she had heard everything. That Misty declared Ash her boyfriend made Delia mad. More than mad, she was incensed that this skinny bitch called her Ashley her boyfriend. Misty would talke Ash on her quest on find rare water pokemon, but Delia wouldn't have it.
"Ms. Ketchum" said Misty. "Ash is my boyfriend and I want to take him with me.."
"Ash is staying here with me forever" said Delia in an icy voice. Ash had never heard his mother use that icy voice; it's wasn't normal for her. It scarred Ash in fact.
"I'll take care of him" said Misty.
"I'm the only one who can take care of my little Ashley" said Delia. "you'll either eat him by accident or crush him...you really don't love him..I love him. He's all I go, don't you understand? His father disappeared on me, and I had to raise Ash by myself. Do you know how hard that had to be, being a signal parent? Ashley asked me questions about where was daddy, and I couldn't answer because I didn't know. I don't know if his father is alive or dead, but he's not leaving me again ever. I'll protect Ash with all of my heart"
"But, Mom..." said Ash. "I want to help Misty.."
"Ms. Ketchum" said Misty. "I'll protect him better than you co..." The rest of Misty's sentence went unheard, as the plate of cookies was thrown at her. Misty dodged the plate, which shattered on the kitchen wall. The plate was thrown by Delia, who had a mad gleam in her eyes.
"Don't you dare say that!" yelled Delia.
"Mom!" yelled Ash.
"Ms. Ketchum..." said Misty. "I'm only.."
"JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!" yelled Delia at the top of her lungs, as she threw a fork at Misty. Misty ducked.
"Mom, what's the matter with you?" asked Ash.
"Don't worry, Ashley" said Delia. "I won't let that heartless bitch take you" And Delia rushed at Misty and knocked her to the floor. Delia started to choke Misty, while Misty kicked and punched Delia.
