Upon Mii and Rongo's return to the city, they had discovered that the Cabinet had been barricaded in City Hall, which was being besiged by the angry citizens of the city. The temples to the two busty goddesses had been destroyed, and the Cabinet was running out of food. Another few hours and every one of them would surely have died.

Unfortunately for the people, the return of the two giant goddesses ended any chance they had of revenge. Mii and Rongo feasted on a majority of the people that had risen up, while crushing the rest. The few survivors were ordered to rebuild the temples on a grander scale than before. The Cabinet wasted no time thanking the two goddesses and resuming their positions of power.

Mii and Rongo still had their hearts set on world domination, however, They wanted to be worshipped worldwide, to be so big that they could crush cities in one step. But as long as the government had that stupid shrinking cannon, they couldn't attack Tokyo and take their rightful places as the goddesses of Asia. Two days later, the wait was getting on Rongo's last nerves.

"Oh, when is Mouse going to finish?!" Rongo yelled. "I'm sick of waiting!"

"So am I," replied Mii, "but we can't go until Mouse gives us the signal. No matter how big we get, that stupid cannon will just shrink us again."

"But what if it's already gone?" Rongo suggested.

"Huh?"

"You know. It's been a while. Maybe Mouse can't contact us. Maybe we should go now."

"And end up in jail again?" Mii asked.

"Hey, we know what to look for. We could crush it if it did show up, which it probably won't."
