Their new home wasn't very big. Why did they have to move? Especially to such a tiny town. There's nothing to do here.
"Kids, why don't you take a walk around town, while your father and I unpack."
"You mean we can go all by ourselves? Won't we get lost?"
"You'll be just fine. That's one of the good things about living in such a small town; if you get lost, the people around here are willing to help you."
"O.K., Mama." They walked down the street, towards the old library a few blocks from their house. Walking up the stone steps they hear a low voice say,"Are you children new to the neibourhood?" They loked to see a feeble old man sitting on a bench behind them.
"Yes, sir. We just moved down the street. Do you know if the Library is open?" Jarod said.
"It isn't. Are you looking for something in particular?"
"Just for something to do," Megan repied, "we don't know anyone here, and all ou stuff is packed up."
"Do you like to use your imagination? If you do I think you would like what I have in mind." The old man beckoned them to the bench. "If you have the time I would be willing to tell you a great storie about a girl just a little bigger than you. What do you say?"
Jarod looked at his sister and asked,"Can we Meg? It sounds really cool, and we don't have anything else to do."
What should you do?
